I would like there to be an option which will allow for a 1 min interval. For my plans a 15 second interval is too often, anyway thank you for the great tutorial video.

This doesn't work for me for some reason. I can setup the slot, record the audio, play it back, assign a name to the slot, etc - but when I try to actually use the slot and transmit over the air, the radio beeps 1 time and nothing happens. Long pressing the slot doesn't do anything.

Here’s a pro tip for you if you are recording everything with the QSO recorder, you have to turn off the recording in order for the voice recording to appear.

Has anyone else had a problem getting it to repeat? I can record and TX but not repeat, no matter what interval I set.

Thanks for the video looks easy to set up the voice keyed. I've had my 7100 in the mobile forv3 years and never set it up.73 VE3TMG

While the radio is transmitting a voice keyer recording the only way I see to stop it is to press the memory location again. On my Yaesu it will stop transmitting the recording if I press the PTT or the memory location. Is that the way it is?

You can also use the buttons on the mic as a cw keyer.

are you getting full SSB power on 7100 ? have you performed the jumper modification as noted here in www.lb3hc.net/archives/2719

@hamradioconcepts Hey Eric, do you remember how long it took to format your SD card before you could record with it? I am getting my set up right now to go activate a few parks for POTA tomorrow, and it feels like it has been "formatting" for a half hour already!

ProTip: I just learned that if you have speakers plugged in and want sound I undo both, flip the switch on the bottom of the head from SP to PHONES and it comes out both (not stereo, but just plays through both).

Eric thank you for all of the recent 7100 videos. In my opinion this radio is very underrated. I think initially people were put off by its form factor, but if you spend time with one it really is a great package. I love mine and am still learning about all of the features over a year later. I got mine at a great sale price and have no regrets! 73! K3DBI

witch u like better this radio or the 7300 or the 991? its a tuff choice but if just one witch one as I do like the 7100 as an all n one type

i dont have a 7300 but i do have a ft991 and a 7100 doug not much to between them but i think the 7100 just has the edge do we need a waterfall well no thats what the vfo is for only my opinion though doug

What bands does D-Star work on? I imagine VHF and UHF only?

OK thought It may do 10 meter digital like 991 A, but seems 2M is lowest band for d-star.
