Thank you! The part with the EPTT, if I set it to "on" on the channel does that bypass the "internal" COR -> PTT so that I can use an external controller? If not, is there another way for me to defeat that in the software? We are going to use an RLC controller on our club repeater and I would love to be able to disable the TX'r as needed from the controller like all the other units. 73 de VE7WNK.

I have version 1.9 of the software, like that of the video, but when I try to read, write or get info it gives me a connection error (check the COM port, the cable, and the radio on ON), but despite everything is ok it continues to give me that error and I can't do anything. The cable is OPC 1122 and I think it has no problems since the technical information of the repeater shows it to me (voltage, temperature, fan speed etc). What could be the cause?
It also could be a windows issue? There seems to be issues with windows 11 and many drivers not functioning for radios. I have the issue with a couple cables the drivers have to be rolled back to older versions. I have had cables also seem fine and then be damaged as a new one did just fine.
@@fatherdaughtergaming I have a windows XP PC that I use on purpose to program the radios. In my opinion, the cable works because the function of the program that reads the parameters of the device (therefore voltage or fan speed) works. However, reading, writing or radio info from error. In my opinion, older software is needed.

Hello and thanks for watching. The only way I know of is to contact your local icom commercial dealer, they might sell you the software or be able to update it for you. Hope this helps
