Hope the surgery and therapy went well. Thoughts and prayers. What a great build! Every detail is perfect and looks period correct but, with nice modern upgrades. Thanks for sharing.
I think the reason I love the 62, 63 Studebaker Avanti is because of Raymond Loewy's design. I want so bad to have the money to have you turn one of those into a derelict or reformer. Just need the money. Love your work. Thank you for sharing.
What can you say ! From being on Jay leno car show to your own ! Not bad for a over night success but took him twenty years not bad!!!great workmanship
love a black truck. Probably would choose different leather but good as it sits. I hope there will be a time when a customer hornswaggles you into building a full custom. would love to see that.
It's super impressive that the like to dislike ratio is 775 to 1 (one). Impressive work as always! If I ever win the lottery, I know where I'll be bringing a car too :D
Love how you get rid of the nasty stuff that comes with the originals. Front clip, suspension that is barely that, ride quality, blah, blah, blah. My brother had a '49, which is my favourite iteration, that had a front clip from a '69 Nova and an Olds 455 Rocket. He went through vehicles like socks. He knew shortly after he sold it that he never should have. He tried years later to buy it back but it had been butchered to almost recognition. Very sad. Having said all of that, you taking the best of what makes these trucks near and dear to our hearts and making it better is simply fantastic. Keep up the great work!
TRs are by far my favourite from your brand! Black on black on black… home run bro…. Beautiful. I Never get ‘bored’ of your descriptions or comments, always looking forward to the next model you’re test driving. Thanks dude.
I am always watching your videos for inspiration for my build. I have a 53 GMC 5 window that i can only hope turns out half as good as these trucks you build. Thanks for sharing with us, good luck with the super knee. Cheers
It's a good lookin' rig. I think Raymond Loewy would want you to redesign the speaker boxes and the button box that hangs below dash. Other than that, it's awesome!
Good luck with the Knee replacement, hope it's not a "Patnia" but a full "Resto-mod", now you know which side of the fence I am on. Seriously, parying and hoping all goes well, and you are back fit and well, as soon as possible. Excuse the sardonic humour, British -what else would it be.
Wishing you luck with your personal modding work, on your chassis, Jonathan. Hopefully those mechanics are highly qualified pros, and replacement parts will last...
fantastic quality build good luck with your surgery and best of all I'd like to find out if you would do a 57 Dodge pickup or better yet a 49 Dodge pickup with a modern Hemi in that Art Morrison chassis I think that would be a killer ride
These are my favorite icons...next are the derelicts... Oh man, Jonathan I too have that knee work coming, on one that had the knee cap rebuilt years ago after a getting run over whilst on a motorcycle... Do the Physical Therapy and try not to call it Rehab in public...folks look at you funny...it is worth every second of it, in the long run...if you want to run ever again...
Well, it’s beautiful. I love the stance put in to it. My only down was the engine. I would put in a 292 or a 250 inline sixes. Just my preferences, I just like a fairly good built inline 6 and it’s sound.
I find this Derelict concept so intriguing and just love to see your hard work pay off and how you solve all the problems. Just make yourself happy and screw the rest except the customer of course LOL. Have you ever been asked to do an all electric Derelict?
@@ICON4x4Design Awesome. I'll look for it. I would put speakers on the outside to make it sound like a gas engine. That I read in a Robert Heinlein sci-fi novel where he was riding an all electric model T with sound effects that could be turned off LOL. YOU MAY WISH TO DO THAT.
Wish you guys sold the leather wrap for the wheel as a kit. I know so many including myself with that bel air reproduction wheel but they don't come wrapped
@@Pedroisanickname Anyone can suggest next amazing build's Icon would be great at. What you need to stop doing is stick riding so hop off. That's the polite thing to do.
