No one asked but my preference would be 7, 18, 10, 19 and then any of the others. Honestly they are all perfect, the TR is my favorite hands down. If I could I would like my TR build to be Porsche's Auratium Green in satin, with the glove leather from 10 and Shou sugi ban oak, brushed nickel trim with artillery wheels. I can never decide if I would want it 4x4 or not. I keep imagining trying to make a 4x4 with diesel/hybrid drivetrain. But then mostly love the sound of the 6.2 through a manual transmission with the mid stance. Love the truck, thank you for sharing.
Simply my favorite truck ever built. You took THE best looking design of any vehicle, and made it brand new state of the art! These trucks have always been my dream and you’ve made them even better!
Can't wait to get my 51 with a 400 small block and many other modifications ready for cruising in the spring. Its gonna be old school in looks with very little bling.

Crazy idea? Thrift Master 5 window sitting on an ICON Bronco / FJ off-road suspension! A, “what if” imagination of Chevrolet having the ability to produce a complex, useful 4X4 back in the day…. Hey, you said crazy! 😂

As I happen to be a 1951 model myself (late model year; Nov2) let me add to your accolades. Old guys and trucks like us need a certain amount of creature comforts built into our lives. The first thing I noticed was your side window cranks. Push up, window up. Push down, window down, and fast too. No More cranking of the crank, genius. I feel like I am good for another 50,000 miles.
The evolution of mechanicals is awesome. My favorites are with the stand out paint jobs. (Brown, blue, Porsche white, dual color). Everything is over engineered except for the engine air filter. Why is it routed to the back of the engine bay to suck hot air. Why?
Absolutely beautiful & I could not pick a favorite. You have taken the TR truck line to an incredible level that definitely makes it one of my bucket list vehicles. Forgive me for being me but have you ever considered doing an all wheel drive TR?
Johnathan, have you seen the billet CNC two piece steering wheel that SPARK in Texas makes? It's styled like the stock 47-53 GM truck wheel but shrunk. It can be leather wrapped or left aluminum..it is very sexy!
Really nicely done. And it's cool that every one Is slightly different.. But have you thought about doing a retro cover to get rid of those ugly coil packs?
Yes, and we often do those on our one off Derelict and Reformer builds but I find that mostly, our clients aren’t really lifting the hoods and don’t really care. They prefer to keep it easy to service.
These are some beautiful restorations and then some, I just wonder and to me it doesn't really matter but do the cars remained the old make and model they once were or are they now a new make and model since each is now a unique vehicle? Again to me it doesn't matter I'm just curious.
Nice to see the evolution of the TR series. However inconsistent sound levels between and within the original content from each truck and the narration that links the clips does not reflect the quality expected from ICON. Distracting and once noticed disappointing.
Hi, I'm noticing on all your builts you test drive while filming can one say you are killing two birds with one stone meaning you also breaken in the truck engine also on your test drives.
Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classic busses will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!
