Great song and though it is not an actual video because Freddie and David never actually got the opportunity to do this song live, I still really like this video. Queen and David Bowie did actually write this song together and the bassline was written by John Deacon (Bass-Queen). Thank you for reacting to this song.

This is a compilation of David Bowie at Freddie's tribute concert on 1992 after Freddie died and Queen's performance on Wembley But still one of the most recognizable songs ever written in Montreux on 1982

So many reactors are surprised when they recognise Queen songs, not realising its one of theirs! A lot of Queen songs have been sampled

I defer to all the comments from my Queenmates!! ICONIC song written by Queen & David Bowie. The song evolved from a jam session in Montreux when Bowie visited Queen in the studio. John Deacon came up with the famous bass line so when they broke for lunch then returned to the studio John had forgotten the “little diddy”. I’ve read that Roger remembered it but then again David Bowie also insists that he was the one who remembered it. 🤣🤣 LOL

This video was pieced together after Freddie died, from pieces of prior performances. They never performed it together in public. They always planned on recoding it together, but were never able to align their schedules, so Queen recorded it with Bowie's blessings. ~ Mrs H

You should check out Bowies last video. The song is "Lazarus". In the end of the song he goes into a clothes chest, as if to close his coffin. It's sad man.....

So the David Bowie bit is from a concert where he sang the song with Annie Lennox. The bit with Freddie is from a separate concert. Watch the concert with Bowie and Lennox. Also it's super weird that whoever is posting these videos wants to erase Annie Lennox's performance.
