Word of advice to everyone, make sure the software is connected before you hang it up, or you'll be climbing back up the ladder to hit the reset button on the camera
@@John.Heyman I'm having a hell of a time trying to reset the camera I can see there's a little button beside the SD card but no matter holding it is making the camera reset or go back to factory settings. I don't have the manual so it's a little frustrating
@@njuta If you download the app you can connect the two with the app by letting the camera take a photo of the code on your cell phone. Just bring up the QR code, hold it in front of the camera when its in pairing mode and it should connect it. It won't allow you to connect to 5ghz and wants mobile data off on your cell phone.
@@John.Heyman thank you for replying! how do I get it to go into pairing mode, it's just showing up as 'offline' in ICSee and hitting the reset, holding the reset, and powering off and on while holding the reset isn't working. Please let me know
I have had this camera out in the elements for well over a year. I even ran electric across my yard to reach it about 150'. I think any problems with surveillance had to do with that factor, triggering the GFC protection. I moved this camera closer. The 'plastic' material weathered enough to develop of crack in the mount, which I repaired w/ epoxy 'weld' product. My main problem no is not the cam itself, but the necessity of phone apps to control various cameras on the property--when there really should be ONE standard cam setup for all cams across mfgs. I have this PTZ cam, a Luowice, a Wannsee, a TMEZON PTZ using separate apps when I would prefer a PC app that easily connects all of them.🤨
Afe the antennas, both of em, rea? I had a set of cameras like ths...they stopped workkng. First 1 of them wouldn't function if the other was onine....then the both just stared at a spt on te walll. Curious and in attempts to somehow fix em, I openned them up.....cheap generic steppers...and only 1 of the antenna was real,,,,,,,the other was just for show....
Am I the only one with sd card problems? Is a factory block to force buying cloud storage or a question of video quality streaming vs sd card class? Please help me my ICSee camera record for a while and then the sd card turns unreadable

I have two questions: 1) What if a criminal wants to access the memory card slot of the camera and destroy it? Will we still have proof and 2)How many minutes of video recording can be stored and played back on a 32Gb for example?
A criminal could take the memory card that's why you want to record the video locally on an external harddrive. 32gb should be at least 30 days of recording. Hope this helps and thank you for watching I really appreciate it.

@@jaimecarlorivera4674 I have not tried that yet. But I will. I use Reolink NVR system and this camera integrates well. I use this camera in my garage so not much for motion detection except our cars.
You need to use Internet Explorer, that's the only browser the camera works on. Enter the camera's IP address into the browser and it will ask you to download the viewer program, once the software is installed you can setup and view the camera, it's very simple.
Good day! Sir how to transfer or save the recorded video from the smart wireless cctv cam to my my phone or laptop. i get the sd card from the cam and inserted it to my phone. it doesnt play. it appears no sd card inserted.
You cannot view cam videos from the SD card because the camera formats the SD card not familiar to the phone or laptop etc. Use CMS to download from the cam while the SD card is in the cam.
Hey Guys one more thing I wanted to mention about the motion sensor alerts is the Icsee Camera is pretty sentive to any type of motion like even light variations seem to trigger it which sends a notification to your phone. This can be slightly annoying so you can always disable the notifications. Otherwise this is a very good budget PTZ canera. Enjoy!!!
@@MP-mq6df It's under the rubber SD cover. Next to the SD card slot there is a tiny switch that you hold in for 10 seconds while the camera is powered on. You'll need a toothpick or something small to push the button in. The camera will speak to you to tell you that is is resetting, just keep holding the button down.
Question: Want to buy PTZ for my cabin in the mountains. Cable provider through WIFI, it only has 0.66 upload/download. Is this enough to run a PTZ and view it remotely? If not, would it be better just to go with a fixed wireless camera through DVR system? Thanks!

Your Amazon links go to more expensive cameras, not the one you're reviewing. Also, the one you're reviewing does NOT have zoom functionality. You're just zooming in on your phone.

I have 4 of the 3MP version connected to my Hikvision NVR. Do NOT buy the 5MP version, I've tried two different ones and the don't work for crap! The 3MP is what you want.
The software is crap, I own a camera like that and the app and software is crap, is invaziv, lagging, crashes, and it have a backdoor... So be careful where you mouth the camera because not only you can see what she see!
I use my Reolink NVR software because the ICSee camera connects to it automatically. So I would use the Reolink software. Thanks for watching and if you subscribed thank you as well.
