You like bare mountains. Head north of Mackey to Double Springs pass and Horseheaven Pass. Not technical, not hard, but beautiful.

Head up antelope canyon and over the pass to copper basin. There are so many awesome trails in the lost river valley

Would be interesting to see what we can do about the overheating. This generation F150 has all water to oil heat exchangers for oil, transmission, and turbos. I wonder if a bigger radiator is all that is needed.
