The part she neglects to point out is that they have an expert witness who has years of law enforcement, government and commercial experience in figuring this kind of stuff out… he started a company specifically to help law enforcement pinpoint locations using geolocation and RF data… he trains law enforcement on how to do these very things… and if the defense doesn’t hand over the discovery that they keep refusing to hand over, which will prove that either the excoriating evidence was ignored or deleted (depending on what that CAST report says that Thompson won’t hand over), that this gentleman is going to testify that Kohberger wasn’t there, and that what they have pulled off the phone so far, and pictures obtained from independent sources on the route show him on the way to wawawai park at the times the police said he was driving to Moscow… You’d think that if this hack had an ounce of integrity or trustworthiness she would report on the entire thing, not just smirk and look like a bigger @$$hat and double down on spreading the misinformation that she loves to spread…

If he drove to Moscow that night to commit the murders, why did he need to turn his phone off. Just drive to Moscow and leave the phone on at the apartment. That way there would be no suspicion. If someone called the phone and he didn't answer he could just say the phone was on silent or he dozed off an didn't hear it.

When DNA related to you is at a quadruple murder scene, it’s pretty impossible to claim you were somewhere else driving around and taking a picture of the stars. And you are driving the exact make and model of a car at the scene driving around the murder scene multiple times and then your car leaves and comes back hours later to drive by said murder scene to check out your work.

Thankfully, juries aren’t stupid.

The road to Boyer Park, which Wawawai Road transverses, is a narrow, too-lane road. It’s treacherous in bad weather conditions. This would be no relaxing drive. It’s very steep as well, with sharp drop offs on both sides. Even with a 4-wheel drive pickup with studded tires it would have been a white-knuckle trip-nothing fit for a poorly-equipped Elantra. Moreover, the alibi lacks a complete, specific timeline for the locations of BK’s car and phone. The prosecution will pick it apart. Regards from Moscow.

Ted Bundy: 1) Bite mark expert 2) Witness describing "pointed nose" at Chi Omega. Bryan Kohberger: 1) DNA on knife sheath expert 2) Witness describing "bushy eyebrows" at King St.

They didn't know the who the DNA on the knife sheath belonged to until much later when they got DNA of his father in the garbage back east and it matched up to that DNA being the father of the person who left it on the knife sheath. I also think the prosecution has way more evidence that we don't know about yet. The alibi of "driving around alone" is really not an alibi.

I don’t know BK gets a fair trail anywhere. Even the media is biased and has already pegged him guilty. A lot of people go in late night drives to nowhere. When you’re living away from home and you don’t have a lot of friends or much to do, driving around listening to music and looking at the stars is quite relaxing. This is not odd at all. To all those saying there’s a ton of evidence in the case, I disagree. This case, from what we know so far, plagued with a plethora of reasonable doubt. As far as the tiny trace amount of touch DNA on the knife sheath - that could have been transferred there. I can’t understand why more attention and concern is not given to the two roommates who waited till noon to call the authorities AND who called in a bunch of friends to a quadruple homicide scene as early as 8 am. And yet they STILL didn’t call the authorities until noon. I’m of the mindset BK was framed.

Well, why not believe that BK was not in Moscow on the day of the murders, if the PCA places BK in Moscow Idaho and then they say that BK was not in Moscow that day. Also when I was at university I would drive for several hours and sit by the sea until 4:00am. And I assure you that many people who are in college and suffer from insomnia do the same thing.

Ashley! Whatever happened with the items from "cleaning" his car that were confiscated? Kohberger ditched the stuff in his neighbors trash cans when he returned home to PA. The police saw him doing that in early morning hours on drone footage, as they were watching his home. Why is that not being talked about?

Did he said usually and esp that night he was going to watch the stars and were those seen able that night in those areas. Did he use a weather app for clear sightseeing? Since he say he is keen to watch the stars, esp that night?

If Bryan drove down to Wawawai Park he wouldn’t have cell service for 26 miles. ATT loses service about 5 miles out of Pullman and if you travel up the Snake River into Clarkston you will not get service until the Red Wolf Bridge comes into view. So if Bryan took that route and spent any time walking, napping or taking pictures he could easily have turned that excursion into a three hour trip.

(c) Were his early morning drives always at the same time and does the cell phone data bear this out? Is the pattern the same for all the nights he was watching the moon and the stars? Does his cell phone data have other moon and stargazing trips/with phone switched off etc.?

Another thought, Who goes "driving" around looking at the moon and stars? You are supposed to be DRIVING. Would you not pull over and park in a dark viewing area, away from city/town lights to look at the moon and stars? You are SUPPOSED to be driving, not moon and star gazing. WHO goes "driving around" at that hour in another state looking at the moon and stars, with an out of state plate and residing in yet another state? Doing that is screaming " pull me over" for police. Anyone who drives knows this.

Here is my take. I could see how someone would go for a late drive to clear one's head and decompress. I did it and still do at times. And he is on the other side of the country from his family. No one would be up back home or they would be getting ready for bed, the time difference. Yet another reason to just go for a drive. And the climate there is much colder than PA. Some may think it would be about the same. NOPE. So running might be first choice but taking a drive might just make more sense. And if this guy was a TA or had any involvement with students who could call him at any hour - I can understand why he would turn his phone off too if the goal was to destress. And finally, I thought there was evidence this guy suffers from some rare medical condition affecting his vision. I know what it is to contend with pain and destressing is HUGE. And if I had a vision problem and the brightness of snow amped my pain aggravating my condition, I would hit the road and head in a direction away from city lights and sounds. It may have been one reason he chose to go to Washington State. And if there is a true expert - SO FAR EVERY EXPERT THE DEFENSE AS BROUGHT INTO THIS CASE made mistakes in what they produced or delivered on the stand and seemed to be more about trying to change laws to help other defendants down the road than BK. This is the first one who is laser focused on BK. Then again, I keep wondering if this just just one more in a series Ann Taylor has used to try and get the court and now the jury to question the veracity and weight of cell phone triangulation. So it comes down to the integrity, veracity, and completeness of one expert against another. I don't live in Washington ST - my dad tells me I did when I was too young to care but even then I was on the coastal side of the state. Even on country roads there are trail cams, a few gas stations. Is it so remote and unpopulated that the defense has not been able to find anything else? On the one hand it is convenient his alibi fits into the camera images in Pullman but the alibi is the classic SODDI (some other dude did it) and he says I went the OPPOSITE direction. And it wasn't provided until anyone in the region who may have had something that could help would have more than likely lost the footage. Which takes me squarely back to where I believe our court system today fails us all - truth is cloaked from juries (and even judges presiding over cases) by defense attorneys whose aim is NOT justice but WINNING. So far for me, I don't like this judge - the gag order fiasco, the hearings so far, control of the cameras by the judge doesn't bother me at all but the angle of HIS cameras - the attorneys are barely in focus but OH he is front and center with perfect lighting. And I don't like Ann Taylor AT ALL. I always pay close attention to timing. And I believe this case it is going to be critically important where BK's alibi goes.

as someone who does late night star gazing and also enjoys late night drives as well as camping....i don't find his alibi to be odd. he has a history of running at night, even back in PA. he's got photos of the night sky. banfield as usual sounds like a patronizing asshole.

I've been saying for many months, there are other people surrounding the victims, that seem far more suspect. Several of the parents, with their drug use history, drug trafficking and arrest backgrounds could absolutely know more than what they are telling. All the different things the parents have said have led the public down various rabbit holes. AND---more than one perpetrator, there absolutely was a motive for this crime and it was pure hatred for all four.Hoodie Guy predicted "we're gonna getcha for this, Maddie" so the victims knew something was about to occur. No one is going to tell the truth in that town. I have always felt one of the victim's family members or loved ones called in a totally fake tip on Kohberger, that they followed white Elantra's, various white cars, all over town, and located a local guy with bushy eyebrows driving a white car with out-of-state PA plates...and, we can imagine a family member would be so stricken with grief, crazy out of their minds, or even so scared to death for their own lives, that they might just have called in a fake tip on Bryan Kohberger to the cops----and, well----the police RAN WITH THAT fake tip, in my opinion.
