These are what I have been looking for, as my jazz tutor never tells me this kind of thing. I have been taught just free impro, with mainly chord tone and idea of telling a story. I feel stuck and feel doing like total composing.. You... very natural casual teaching style, but clear, lots of ideas of what to practice.
