Hello John, My father served in WW2 with the RNZAF as bomber pilot.He served Britain with pride and helped liberate the Jews from Belsen.I am saddened by the disrespect displayed by certain religious groups who appear to be ignorant not only about history but how to behave in a civil manner towards the guards.Disgusted.

But I did have to laugh when the woman was trying to take a family picture and the camera fell over, then the kid’s sunglasses fell onto the ground. Tipper and Passiondale seem to be lippers (as opposed to nippers. It's so endearing. My uncle had a horse that would grip your sleeve with his lips to pull your hand in to pet him.

Letting everyone around the world see these disrespectful idiots is worth a close up of them. Glad you captured the real them and how they act in public. Hope their friends and family see them on your videos and tell them how ignorant their actions are. Common courtesy and common sense in public is going down hill fast. I think it’s about time something was done about the crowds. The guards and the horses don’t deserve to be harassed as they are. Some of the public are either rude or idiotic.

John, I think the police need to be ready to move people on, who just stay in front of guards, lean on walls etc because we don't know who they are. The way things are these crowds are dangerous. Sad, but that's the world today. You take care as well.

I love how protective you are of the guards in the arches! (I apologize if that’s not the correct term.) Also, how aware you are, and when you see something suspicious you alert others. It’s refreshing to see people who care.

Passchendaele is a sweetie. He loves the attention. When people run back and forth for a photo and don't come close to him, I get the feeling that he longs for that contact. Hangs his head quite low at times with his ears down. Almost looks depressed. He's gorgeous.

Yeah sadly YT isn’t shy about adding more advertisements to better performing videos, which they’re doing in this case of course. What a lovely pair of horses out this time….so gentle and friendly. Passondaele(no I can’t spell it…I try but, no) is a sweetheart and really seems to thrive on the interaction. This is why a blanket ban on interaction with the horses would ALSO be problematic. There are several horses that actually really enjoy interacting with people, and to deny them that would be sad.

I wonder if the horse Youngman/Young Man was named after Lance Corporal J Young, one of those killed in the Hyde Park bombing in 1982. The names of the horses who died were Cedric, Epaulette, Falcon, Rochester, Waterford, Yeastvite and Zara. We know there are horses currently in the Blues and Royals named Yeastvite and Rochester and there’s a horse named Sefton, after the horse who miraculously survived his injuries from the bombing.

Tipper and Passiondale are becoming 2 of my favourite H CavHorses. Both have lovely nature's. But I do miss Ormonde keeping the tourists in order.

Maybe they should arrest them and call their parents.

Morning John is this the young lady that will yell at anybody who gets in her way I think I saw her the other day Yellit, some woman for trying to touch the horses bridle, and the woman looked really indignant to the fact that she got yelled at for trying to reach out to the animal You cannot and and I say it again cannot touch the guard or the reins and if it is entangled, it is the troopers place to get help not a passerby I understand. Nobody’s to touch the animals or the guards I just feel the lady was trying to help but when you’re in another country or wherever you come from, you follow the rules so keep your hands off the damn horse and I know last week you wanted to help the horse but you knew you get yelled at and by the way, John, you’re a handsome man and very tall❤❤❤❤❤ not making a pass at you, but you are very handsome

All the horses were relaxed today ( ok I know it was yesterday 😁) , despite the crowds and almost constant line of tourists standing beside them for photos they remained calm , curious and not objecting to the interaction , good to see . When you were talking to a friend you mentioned numbers of people filming has gone up recently , there are now new RU-vid channels popping up the trouble is most of them have no idea what's happening , the routine at change over , history of Horse Guards , the regiments , and more ! Their titles prove this - calling the Captain an Inspector , and it's " rare " to see him , Change over at " Kings Guards Hall " ???? " Royal Stallions of the King ! ! That's just a few I can think of , the few comments they get , if any , are equally ridiculous ! Thank goodness for you Buska and Abdullah 😀

I had to laugh when you said that being so tall you hsd to be careful not to trip over shorter people as I am only 5 ft so often find taller people do not realise I am there but my shortness used to come in handy when getting on crowded trains as I was short enough to duck under their arms and grab a seat lol

Hello, John, from Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada!! Just arrived in. It's 10: 20 pm, and I have 4 days of re- certification happening out here. I'm just watching your video now. I'm back 2 hours in time, so my body is saying it's after midnight fool!! Go to sleep!! All the babies have gone home, and I get back home on Saturday. Just in time for Easter dinner, then I'm off to Algonquin National Park Easter Monday, for 3 days, to re-certify 1 team there. The other team is up to date. They just graduated!! Then, home again in Tim for April 7th, when the horses arrive for training this year. These are my 3 S&R Teams that I have to re-certify. I love zooming in when crazy stuff happens like that lady and her camera. The troopers sometimes have a smirk or a big grin. Some troopers never crack a smile, but u will see them taking deep breaths and looking away. I love seeing them smile cause I never see them out of uniform. The funny thing is I could walk right up to one of them and never recognize them out of uniform.. thats wild

Love your videos! Viewing from USA. I wonder why the guards don’t paint some white boundary lines in front of the boxes so people don’t get so close. It would save a lot of confusion and stress. Thank you.

I’m surprised they don’t put a sign up that says, “Stay out of the archway.” They put a sign up that says not to ride bikes in the tunnel. Seems like more ppl walk in the archway than ride bikes. Thank you for making disrespectful ppl feel uncomfortable by filming them. When I was there in 2012, there weren’t any chains and the gatesman and chitsman stood at the front of the archway. Love your videos. Brings back great vacation memories. John, did you decide if your were going anywhere this summer? I vote for Holkham Beach in July when HCav goes there.
