POLICE INTERVENE when Spanish teens DISRESPECT The King's Guard! I ask them why. 

In all the movies and comedy shows, they show people trying to make the guards laugh or move or do something and the message they are sending the public is that it´s ok and fun to do. So, if you need to call anyone disrespectful...start with Mr. Bean.

I've been meaning to ask. I hope I'm not morbid sounding but it's completely out of respect for the horses. When one of them passes do they have a special ceremony and special burial place? They are so beautiful and majestic. I'm certain it hurts all those who have relationship with the horses when they tragically pass. It's inevitable I know. But I'm one of those who won't watch the movie if the dog dies. Seriously. I just thought maybe you could find out. I Apologize if you've addressed this before. Thank you❤

Good for you John AND the police officer for reprimanding these rude Spanish teens. It's more understandable when American tourists treat the Horse Guards like Disney World because they don't have a Monarchy with all the traditions. But Spain has a Monarchy and all European countries have a long history/traditions, including formal public events with regalia worn etc. So these disrespectful Spanish kids should have known better. *Seemingly my message hit a nerve today with somebody Spanish-speaking, for my post was deleted. When you visit an English church, there will be on the wall a list of all the vicars.. from Anglo Saxon names to Norman French names after the conquest, to the break during the English Civil War when religion was required to be very different under Puritan rule in the 17th century.. right up tot he present day. An almost unbroken chain… lovely!

But Spain has a Monarchy, and all European countries have historical traditions with ceremonial aspects where regalia is worn , so these ignorant Spanish kids showing off to each other should have known better. It can’t be called anti semitic if you’re speaking truth. I just hope everyone realizes that the Orthodox Jews and other Jews are NOT the same at all. The OJ are rude, condescending and believe they are better than everyone else. Now I don’t mean 100% of them are this way, but video doesn’t lie. I agree manners cost nothing but I’m afraid even school is just as bad no discipline we grew up with our P’s and Q’s if I was told off at school my parents agreed with the school about punishment like staying behind or even the ruler. We respected the police and our elders. Dinner time was at the table we all had to do our bit. I just find it very sad in today’s society.

H.Cav would never put a horse out on public duty that was soiled or had diarrhoea , he went into the stables if it was soiled they would have washed him down and returned him to Hyde Park Barracks to see a vet . Grey horses start out brown or dark coloured and as they age become grey , he's maybe still young and not fully changed colour , or he may stay this way .

Banning adults I agree but kids? You never did anything stupid when you were a teenager? They should know better though we have Royal guards in Spain too.

Hey Jennifer, just to clarify, the white has to go over knee to be a stocking, over the ankle to be a sock. If it's below the ankle, it's a coronet, right? Also, 1 quick question if you can just give me quick answer. Why was Lumiere gelded? I didn't want to ask Shae since she's upset re Belle. Lumi is the most beautiful horse I've Ever seen so I thought he would stud.

@lynnell5993 Stocking is to the knee or above. A sock is above the pastern joint, and Lumi was gelded because Shae only has mares and geldings. As a stallion, he wouldn't have been able to be turned out with anyone, except maybe a gelding or two. Which wouldn't have been fair to them, considering they are used to the large herd dynamic. But now that Lumi is gelded, and the safe period is passed, where he can't impregnate any mares, he can now start to be turned out slowly with the rest of the herd. Stallions live a very solitary life, except when servicing mares. That is the only time they see and interact with another horse. Personally, if I was running Free Spirit, I would have done the same thing. It wouldn't have been fair to Lumi to keep him separate from all the other horses. This year, I have 2 stallions coming back, but they've grown up together. So I can turn them out together with no issues. The other horse coming in is a mare. She will be turned out with the herd every day, except when I'm working her, then she'll go back out in the field. She'll be outside a minimum of 17 hours a day, only coming in to be stabled at night, per the owners request. Where the 2 studs will be outside 24/7 unless I'm working them, then and only then will they be inside. Depending on the weather. If it's nice out, we ride outside. If it's a torrential downpour, it's the indoor arena. And in between training these 3, I'm also giving riding lessons and helping with the summer camp weeks that will be happening. I think those are not markings on the gray. The bottom of his tail was also dirty. I think he was feeling ill.

HCAV would not have let a dirty horse be presented out in public. The dark areas are his original color that will fade over time. He is probably a younger horse. Greys are not born grey. They are born black or bay and fade to grey as they age.

I admit to having my favourites , the chunky beauties , Indiana , Kensington with his moustache , Radford , Monty who I don't remember seeing lately , Titan . Invader with his grey professor eyebrows 😁. Q 10 and Overlord are majestic , regal . If I was there and one of them was in the box I'd be up asking to stroke them I promise not to hang around and get in the way 😂
