I love that the mystery box sets the theme for the week. It stays consistent and blends seamlessly together with a satisfying finish with plenty of videos thru the week. Keep it up boys!
rtro spctve I miss the mystery box so much! They said that most of the audience think it became boring, but to be honest, I've never seen a comment saying anything like that...😬
Mike's smile makes me happy. And I'm glad he called out Ben at that myth thing because I, too, was giggling about it. Love the idea of baking it twice; covering up the deflation with a yummy sauce. Thanks for this, guys!
I remember when I was a new subscriber, I was so amazed by your talents, and ever since my sister and I watch you all the time! Our favorites are the battles! Keep cooking, Sorted!
Whenever Ben puts herbs on something it reminds me of my old food tech teacher who would give extra marks to students who put a sprig of parsley on their dish, even if their food tasted bad.
Love the new videos. So happy with more sorted food and that the mystery box is back. Although it wasn't much of a mystery this week because of the title of the video.
Where was this post Saturday when I attempted my first cheese souffle ever? It came out decently well. Reheats lovely too. BTW, you guys crack me up, thanks for all that is SORTED!
Unfortunately, throughout many of the videos, there was a selection of individuals who have (clearly) absolutely NO sense of humor and complained that the "butt first" joke wasn't funny :( I, too, miss it! People should simply learn to take things a little less seriously!
I can't have dairy, but I aaaam super interested in which herbs are good to plant next to each other and which ones pair well in recipes. Just no cat poo fertilizer.
Good thing with these is that after the first bake you can cool then freeze the soufflé. It'll need defrosted before the second bake. I often make them up & freeze them in case I want a late, no fuss supper.
loving the new season... thanks a bunch for adding the temperatures in Fahrenheit even though I don't mind converting it from Celsius it helped me work on my math because I really suck at math >.
I looked back at this after watching the cheese battle. I saw that when Barry knocks over the porte (not sure if that's how you spell it) Jamie says 'Are you actually serious?' in this while in the battle he says 'Are you actually kidding me?' Just something weird i found.
I come back to watch some videos I missed and there they are...chain humping. I didn't think Ben would be the caboose though. It is sweet how all the catchers are holding hands...😘
It's only week two of season three and I already love it more than season 1 or 2 (I mean I like anything y'all do) but something about the themes gets me... I just really like the theme of the week and then the points at the end of the week as well.
i made a shepards pie but instead of potato mash i made a mash of potato, leeks and cheddar. You should try it! Also..please make something that includes bechamel. I would love to see a foolproof bechamel
Someone likes Buffering~ well don't we all? And please Barry, respect the herb garden! Herbs are not just healthy due to the essential oils, the added flavour allows you to use less salt which we normally do consume too much of. More herbs please!
Just letting you know I actually make the best grilled cheese sandwich. Good bread sweetchilli cream cheese cheddar parmesan and mozzarella paint each side of the bread with melted butter season with pepper and cayenne pepper and garlic then cook
You need to do something with Sparkenhoe Red Leicester (the only variety which is actually made in Leicestershire still and also the best one). It's many times better than the guff you get in supermarkets, which is basically just mild cheddar dyed orange.
One of my siblings once made a crustless quiche using cottage cheese as a base instead of pastry. It was pretty flat, but tasted good - is there any chance you could try and do.something like that, please? Pretty please?
