I hated him my first playthrough, but after a few times I realized that he's just a scared kid, watched all his friends die in front of him as well as he has absolutely no closure on if his family died or worse.
@@RaidBu13 In my playthrough I felt really bad for him, so I always kept his side, thinking he can bounce back somehow. He did in the end when he stood up for Kenny.
@@RaidBu13Ben had scrapped voice audios, he apparently had to watch his classmate fucking get raped to death. It's so sad man, you can find the proof on the wiki for Ben
I was watching my friend play for his first time and he was like these people are way too welcoming they must be canibals and I was like how did you know bro
the uncle ruckus theme fits larry so well lmao literally the embodiment of the "oh my god bruh, aw hell naw man, what da fuk man... who invited this guy"
I love the fact that the only reason kenny didn't help at the end was cause of a misclick if you didn't misclick he would of gone with you to find clementine
Also i think it was because they made Kenny shoot Duck. I think if they did it themselves, Kenny would’ve gone with them. Still wild that they sided with him the whole game and those 2 choices caused him not to ride with you
More useless comic lore: Glenn and Hershel are both comic characters. When Glenn leaves the group in episode 1, he heads off to Atlanta where he meets the main Atlanta survivors and is the guy who saves the main character Rick in issue 2. When winter arrives, the Atlanta group looks for shelter and they run into Hershel. He has many children aside from Shawn going from oldest to youngest, Lacey, Arnold, Maggie, Billy, and twins Rachel and Susie. Ever since Shawn died, Hershel’s goofy ass decided to lock every walker he came across in his barn believing they were sick people he could save. When the barn got too full, they all broke out killing Lacey and Arnold (walker Shawn was the one who got him) Hershel had to put them all down and almost took his own life too. Glenn decides to form a relationship with Maggie which Hershel doesn’t take too well at first. When he decides to kick the whole group out, Glenn stays behind with Maggie but they all rejoin the main group when they find a fortified prison. That same prison was the one that Lee was originally being sent to at the start of the game. The officer was describing a story to him about a man who kept screaming that he didn’t commit a murder, that guy was also in the comics named Thomas. When the comic group first met him he lied about what he originally went to prison for and ends up killing Hershel’s twin daughters Rachel and Susie by cutting both their heads off in a room no one else was in. When they found out he did it, Maggie put multiple bullets into his back. Last useless fact Lilly was meant to be a comic character but telltale Lilly’s story strayed too far from the Lilly in the comics so they made them two separate people
first time watching a video of yours. anyway 30 seconds in and crying at the “what did he say???” “i don’t know???” and then continuing to talk over the dialogue
No Kenny stays with you to find Clem if you help him kill Larry. If you don't, he doesn't care and then you have to beg him to come find a little girl. Kenny and Lily's treatment of Lee ALL depends on if you help her or Kenny in the Larry situation, nothing else matters, just that. So if you help Lily, Lily will be loyal to Lee even defend him and Kenny will be against Lee.
@@theyoungknight.3119 Yeah I saw that. I was in the middle of watching the video while I was posting my reply and didn't get to that part yet. That's strange, because when I had Lee help Kenny it didn't matter what I did before or after he still came to help find Clem and when I had Lee side with Lily and help her try to revive her father, no matter how much Lee sided with Kenny before and after I STILL got the scene where he didn't want to help Lee. That's what made me believe THAT one choice mattered the most, it made or broke a relationship completely. I don't know maybe that happens on PC (since they're playing this on PC) but I never got that scene on the Xbox after helping Kenny with the Larry Situation. And yes I play this game on Xbox.
TellTale is a one-of-a-kind company because here we have are a group of friends having the time of their lives on a 12 year old outdated, poorly slapped together, yet expertly written video game. Yall definitely got a sub from me
Dunno man, I their art style made the games age a lot better then most others from that time (even other cell-shady games, for example Borderlands 1 looks abysmall compared to this), and also I didn't appreciate just how many unique animations they had and how smooth it all still looks. TWD S1 was Telltale's peak, can't deny them that
Also one thing, when telling people your secret and ask kenny you were on your way to prison instead of saying i murdered someone, kenny will say "it wasn't for touching kids was it?" Which is funny to me lol
As someone who’s seen so many twd playthroughs I actually love seeing you guys play it, This is my first time finding out about this Chanel and while I don’t think it’s best for people who’ve never played the game or seen gameplay of the game to watch your vids of twd (due to how heavily edited it is and how many cuts it has), I do think your vids a perfect for fans of twd like me who’ve played the game and seen many playthroughs because we can watch you guys play it without going through an entire two hour video of all the puzzle solving and slow parts AGAIN. Plus y’all are funny asf and hella entertaining, I fw these types of vids on playthroughs and I wish more people did what you guys do with playthroughs, this is probably one of my personal favorite playthroughs of this game. I’ll continue to watch you guys play the rest of the seasons…and ye I appreciate y’all playing this game I am now a fan 🙏🏾
2 minutes in and the best parts are that Lee sits in snot and didn't wear a seat belt. I never thought on those stuff myself. This is gonna be a funny ass video to watch!👍🏼 thanks in advance!
First time seeing any of your videos and this was SO entertaining! Love your guys comedy and commentary, can't wait to watch you play the rest of the seasons!
I can't lie as much as i love walking dead I've watched it all and played it all multiple times over, I'm enjoying it all over again like new listening to you guys guess and argue, rip Kenny (I see you've played up to season 4 meaning you know what comes in season 2 and I can't wait to see your guys reaction)
Did you know if you actually keep Ben alive and In episode 5 Kenny would starts arguing with Ben and Ben would fight back and talk back to Kenny very angry and if you shoot walkers in the house and lose ammo you will drop your gun and up in the attic Ben will give you his gun cause you lost your gun
Video 17 of asking to join an7. Wow what a journey it has been. I was watching since the first season 1. I just randomly found you guys on TikTok in season 1 episode 2. From there I watched both episodes and waited ever weekend to watch you guys. I hope you you guys beco one of the best youtubers out there.
Just came across your channel. Surprised yall ain’t have more subs. Yall funny asf and I just got through this whole vid. Gonna watch the rest of your play through. Good work🔥🙌
Bro I'm not even halfway done with this video and I'm having a ball! Y'all are funny as fuck especially with the edits (Larry's theme hehe). Keep it up guys!
What’s funny is Ben was always meant to be how he is but was originally supposed to die trying to save clementine then he was going to die to save lee but they changed their minds, funny thing is most people would be like Ben in a zombie apocalypse
2:53:57 yeah that’s most likely both of the reasons because it’s a point system really and the miss click was worth two points and I think letting them kill his son is 1.5
Yee apparently we still coulda got him to stay with us but we chose the wrong thing 😂 but then again after what he said there’s no way we gonna beg for him to come
@@AN7_yt yeah, there was a way to convince him if you said clementines, my family. But yeah, you definitely needed those points. Good job killing that shitbird Ben
@@AN7_yt The accidental ones early on! When you didn't save his kid at the farm, when you were ready to throw his kid out at the drugstore, and when you made him put down his son! Whether people side with Kenny makes or breaks a let's play of this season, cause he is a real asshole if you don't side with him as much as you can, and I just can't watch that, but you ended up with a decently supportive version of Kenny by the end, so I enjoyed it!
Ngl if you decided to lift Ben up from that tower he'd have been the one to fall off the balcony so he'd have died regardless, but Kenny was gonna try to save him after he got impaled through the chest
