For clarification, yeah Hank hated androids but only because out of grief and unsolved anger which can be easily solved if Connor was friendly and sympathetic to Hank in his story so basically Hank was too consumed with alcoholism that he was pointing the finger at the wrong people and I honestly I can’t really blame him for his behavior
@@AN7_yt I ain’t justifying that but I get why he was being asshat to Connor, ngl I had trouble figuring out how to befriend Hank the first time I’ve played DBH
@@AN7_ytIts also because he sees androids as replacements but not in the same way as everyone else he sees them as replacements for humanity for a soul and so if you continue your mission you are just another android and it proves to him there is nothing more to them they are just machines but if you defy orders feel compassion he will see there is something more not just a machine Tldr Hank wants them to be more human like and that's why he hates androids
@@AN7_ytnah you guys hate on hank too much. Hes meant to be like a father to Connor but if you guys got the option to fight him, no doubt in my mind that you guys wouldve killed him instantly
they play logically and not emotionally, which is why this is a funny game for the to play because it has aspects that weigh heavily in logic vs emotion
4:09 Can confirm sing still wouldn’t of saved you on your playthrough because your public opinion was too low lmao. Good playthrough though, pretty sure this is the best playthrough of DBH on RU-vid
@@AN7_yt Choosing the walk doesn’t actually increase public opinion, when you picked to do a demonstration at the end of the game your public opinion was hostile and there’s no way to change your public opinion past that point, so if you sung they would of killed you even though you’re peaceful. So the nuke was actually a W
@@radicalesotericcentrist Imagine if you show Sarah how to use a gun and support her throughout the story, she'd absolutely annihilate all the Russians in episode 5.
@@RedNightFox I know this is probably a joke, but I'm convinced that they played with the idea of saving her dad, if you showed her how to use it. Similiar to when you tell Walter that Nick is a upstanding guy. But yeah, that was cut just like the Luke vs. Kenny fight, instead of Jane vs. Kenny. Even bigger disappointment than replacing Eddie with Arvo and a bunch of random Russians instead of the 400 Days characters.
@@radicalesotericcentrist As much as we missed out on the Luke vs. Kenny fight, at least we didn't have to watch the final choice being sacrificing AJ and leaving him in the snow to save yourself or freezing to death together with AJ.
It really seems like y'all are missing the nuance of characters 😭😭 yeah Hank is a dickhead, but he's a grieving, suicidal dude self soothing with alcoholism. Typically that garners a bit of sympathy. That's why people tend to respond in a nice, empathetic way to him....like how they would for people grieving in real life 💀
11:09 this happens if you were a machine and you have anything higher than hostile the reason why north could be there is because if Marcus dies early, then she’s the leader. Also if your friends with Hank this rooftop, you can just leave and Hank doesn’t try anything
Hank was just an asshole to everyone, he just acted like an asshole to androids because before he thought they were just soulles machines working in a soulles world. After deviants started showing emotion you can clearly see how he no longer hates androids like with the lesbians or the blonde you had to shoot
Honestly I’m happy fr tho y’all got your ending if y’all got the best ending sunshine and rainbows and shit that be basic and annoying I’m happy but I be super happy if u went to war but y’all got your L/w ending 😭
@@AN7_yt ngl idk if it’s him beating her up or him giving her back shots cos she’s yelling daddy and shit and all you hear is lashes then she dies so he might of pushed in to hard idk
Honestly valid that you guys hate Hank because he hates Androids yet he says the reason his son died was because the Doctor was high but the reason why he’s so different in these endings is because the way you play as Connor makes him realise that Androids aren’t so bad so idk it was kind your fault 😅😂
fish redemption goes crazy ( you guys should check out the quarry or until dawn, it's similar to dbh but the plot is a lot more contained and you have a lot more characters to get killed) ((also until dawn is on PS4 and uses motion control to where you have to hold the controller still or you could die, it goes crazy))
Eh bro im jus assumin dat was me who you's were on about at 0:39 cause i wrote dat comment on the tier list video, like dawg i wasn't trying to get you's swooning over hank, i was just trying to give yall a explanation abt why he was bein wishy washy to you's all game😅😅
4:10 Correction about that part, the choice you make at the end during the peaceful march route is also influenced by public opinion. If public opinion isn't high enough the soldiers will still shoot you after you finish singing or kissing North.
I love Hank, but I think the plothole in his story is we don't know how long he's known about the "surgeon was high and that's why an android had to do the job" detail. If it was more recent, i think it would work better, because it makes Hank's arc about unlearning hate realistic. Maybe near the start of the storyline, Connor finds an article on Hank's desk about "Dr John Doe sued for malpractice, abusing drugs since 2030" or whatever year or "Model RX900 discontinued after failure to perform in medical field", then you get to the part with the picture (since it includes the date of death) and then when you get the "what's my son's name" scene, you connect the dots and Hank's character arc has come to a nice close! I don't know if they address it in the game, but it's like how androids are hated for "taking people's jobs", when in actuality, the hate should go toward the CEOs etc for replacing them with android workers that don't need pay.
Yeah that's a minor flaw in the game to me. The other flaw is cyberlife capping that connor was supposed to become deviant, if so they would've had connor kill/capture markus when he meets him the second time in jericho. you know, when he has an assault rifle. Why would they wait for connor to convert 10000 androids and the government to back down.
Hank was mad at everyone because of grief. Androids were an easy target because the red ice already messed that guy up, all that’s left is the androids “taking over”. I love Hank but he definitely would be a lot to handle if he were real. Literally Will Smith’s character from I, Robot. Gosh, I hate the Cage.
@@AN7_yt I guess when you’re “friends” he processes his grief better so he put the blame where it’s supposed to be (on the druggie doctor)? Either way it’s still human error that created the situation. He was mad at everything.
I totally get why you hate Hank. You were given zero reasons to like him in your playthrough. It's funny seeing all of these people struggling to understand that.
holy FINALLY they made this video. they HANDS DOWN got the worst ending ON ACCIDENT BRO 😭😭😭☠️☠️☠️☠️ but yeah its so funny to me how they accidentally got the worst ending by far. Killing Emma, Hank, Luther, bro ☠️☠️☠️☠️
@@AN7_ytyou guys also didn't commit to one ending for the androids: peace or violence, which made it so painful to watch 🤦👨❤️💋👨👨❤️💋👨 violence by far has better cutscenes though (MLK Jr. vs Lil Mabu)
Yea I think making alice a robot isnt as good as her being human. it goes along with the theme of human and robot living together together peacfully which is the goal for andriods but oh well.
I got a soft lock glitch ending where Markus gets kicked out of jericho, connor becomes deviant and then dies, and he should come back as a machine but the game thinks he's still deviant for some reason, then you talk to North as Connor and there's just no dialogue options, the game just soft locks there lmaoo
This game takes place in months I think August to November which moves this game takes place in November I think. The only time it’s August I believe is the first mission. 4:50
If you guys still are doing horror games (as you did recently), then Cry of Fear is pretty damn nice. It's a older game with a playtime of about 6-8 hours if you take your time, but the story is nice.
All of the youtubers, streamers į have watched playing DBH all of them loved Hank and most of them got good ending with him, you guys are the only Ones that actually hated him😂(and btw the first missions date is august 15th 2038 and the last one is november 11th 2038 so the game does not start in 2034😂😂😂)
For y’all’s endings compared to others, yea it was a unique and different experience Honestly for a lack of skill and a broken controller port you wouldn’t of been able go achieve it in the first run at least 😂😂😂 Jokes aside I feel if you did experience these scenes first time you will get a different perspective on how these characters are and how they are portrayed instead of being so mean and a-hole like. Still, hope more games like these are achieved and enjoyed heavily as time goes on.
6:13 remember conner was the one who released 10,000 androids there's most likely a backdoor virus that amanda can use to also gain control of them just like conner Remember deviants are androids who experienced trama and through that trama gained emotions, which is why most people in Jericho don't or will agree with you, Marcus deviants are androids who were converted by marcus to gain free will but also be completely loyal to marcus so no matter the choice marcus makes, they will always follow him like a queen bee. Amanda's goal could've been to kill marcus, use a virus to control every android marcus and conner wake up and fully control android rights as its new leader to maybe take over the world in the future, Where as marcus would've been trying to live together in peace, Amanda could be trying to control the world or all of America after the revolution is successfully. This is all my theories and i had wished they had thought more about how Amanda played into the story, and how there are real deviant's And converted deviant's
This is why I like ur play throughs they’re different from all the others cause u pick options that most wouldn’t. Idc I like when there’s bad decisions and mess ups they entertaining.
I'm starting to think that the robots that committed the first murders that we saw had a better reason to kill then Markus and the other radicals did based on your choices
What about the boat scenes if u give the tickets back to the family and when todd says they r androids u take a boat over the boarder shit some of those endings hurt
Ur ending was unique. Reactions always get me. I decided to do my own run for the first time. See if I can do better...here's what happened Kara: - Killed Todd - Befriended Luther - Joined Jericho, kept Alice - Saved Luther, Luther sacrifices himself later when escaping the ship - Misses the bus, gets on smugglers boats - Canadian Coast Guard guns down a bunch of androids on the boats. Alice is shot - barely makes it to shore, Alice dies - Kara is left alone(almost thought about killing her right there cause it was an option) Markus: - Markus tried leading pacifist movements - Simon was left behind at the tower, later discovered by Connor and put down by FBI. Discovered Jericho - Markus led the Freedom March and died in the protest - With no allies left, North Takes over Jericho & dies for the battle of Detroit Connor: - Connor became a deviant - Was best friends with Hank till the end - defeated evil Connor and converted the androids - Hank survived - Amanda reveals true intentions - Connor, standing in front of all the free androids, kills himself rather than be a slave to Cyberlife So good ending? I basically got everyone killed for androids to run Detroit so...lol
brooo these choose your own adventure games are so fun to watch, especially yalls playthroughs lol glad you guys were able to see the other choices tho! i think a lot of the stuff yall saw would make more sense with the rest of story around it, so it makes sense yall still hate hank lolol yall should play until dawn if you still havent 👀 there's also an ending where everyone can live BUT some of the characters are kinda annoying so it'll be fun to see what yall think lmao
Can't lie todd is Larry Alice is Sarah hank is Kenny but a shitty version josh is ben simon is mark (dont know if you guys remeber him) north is carley but a very shitty version kara is katjaa
@@AN7_yt also if Hank is alive at the end and if you sacrifice Hank as a deviant he will die and if you stay machine and Hank dies you get that scene with the Captain in the beginning there’s also an ending where Connor was originally gonna be the leader of the revolution and was gonna have a speech but it had gotten removed there’s a lot of deleted stuff from this game that should’ve stayed
