Thanks mate, it was so good I copied it, just with pacemakers and 2 cats when I put this motor in my VC. As far as I know it's a factory cam, but these things are long in the tooth now - could have been tickled I suppose!
The VS didn't drone. The VC doesn't drone at highway/freeway speeds but it does at about 70kmh in 5th (manual with .78 5th, 3.45diff gears) It all depends on the body of the car (ute/sedan/wagon) and diff gears. If you get drone you can usually get a resonator put in to shift the frequency away from where it's at while you're cruising.
