Jimin said the reason she wasnt releasing music had nothing to do sith JYP. She was trying to perfect her voice and find out what kind of music she wanted to pursue. She said that JYP was actually supportive of all she did and shes supposed to release more music soon.

this song is totally jamie's style (in terms of her own musical preference) and im glad she covered it!! also love ilhoon for singing the lyrics she can't sing (bc this song is really meant to be sung by lots of people). i hope jamie comes back soon with a new album with the same vibe as the april fools album so she can continue making music within the genre she loves 💖
