So is literally other blanket statement democrats call conservatives such as: • fascist • sexist • homophobe • transphobic • Nazi • white supremacists • liars list goes on.
That is the problem that I see with the rhetoric that is mainly fueled by the left. These words basically are losing their meaning. This rape culture where everything is now considered rape is also damaging.
I’ve been saying this for a long time. The words don’t have the same effect that they did a few years ago. The left just chuck words at you in order to socially shame you for your honest views, then call us conservatives ‘Nazis’. When actually in Nazi Germany you weren’t allowed so express any disdain for the party or have a different opinion..sound like anyone we know?
Sean Harrison he wasn’t called racist that’s not what the guy says or title means. The title is referring to Ben’s very anti-racist answer and the guy asking is quite racist.
@@XManium It's that the internet allowed some estranged conspiracy theorist to get together, and their stances on mainline issues are conservative, but for differing reasons than those of the conservative majority.
most people these days are more likely to be racist than those they who they point to. Some people are even more racist towards themselves, so they are offended by almost anything not because the people whom they point to are actual racist but because theyre so racist about themselves that they "feel" like they're being looked down upon.
The kid actually claims Brazil is a third world county because a right wing candidate was winning (now has won) the elections. Sure, never mind the misery Brazil went through with left wing politics in the last 20 years...
It's a little ironic, isn't it? He considers the election of a far-right candidate to be a national failure, but he is also concerned about the "browning of America."
I'm brown and I'm an American. I agree with Shapiro 100% here. America is about our shared values, love of freedom, and desire to improve our lot in life. In the Army I fought side by side with true Americans of every color. And I would again.
Bolsonaro is not far right. He's right wing, period. Not a single extreme policy implemented so far. The media calls him far right because they're so far left, anyone in the right is far right.
US 2016 elections and Brazil 2018 elections were really alike: -A candidate known for making "unbelievable comments" about certain topics and being very controversial runs for president -everyone thinks it as a joke -Midia and opposition calls him racist, homophobic all the time -Even through efforts, this guy's popularity goes through the roof -On campus, talking about him on a positive way or defending him would mean you getting hostilized and receive threats and exclusion from the majority of students -the opposition hided the corrupt past of the candidate, only putting on the spotlight the good things the goverment the candidate supports' good deeds, while only attacking the right wing candidate -Every estatistic says that the left wing candidate will win with hefty advantage, so far as over 90% -Right wing candidate wins the election -leftists get the most coletive pikachu face ever. On what I just wrote, you can picture either Trump/Clinton or Bolsonaro/Haddad, and the facts would apply for both. Only difference being Bolsonaro suffering a attack agaist his life, with a opposition suporter trusting a knife in his stomach, and while fighting for survival, far leftists claimed for his death.
He was not, there was better, but here in Brazil, popularity far outnumbers competence, and that is why the left candidate was so high on the polls, even though he was being accused of multiple counts of corruption, etc.
I'm so sad to hear the first guy talk about Brazil like that. Brazil economy is rising up, as our people chose to fight against corruption and elected a conservative candidate. People chose this and we are not suffering anything that the leftist media says.
actually we are. bolsonaro is not from the right wing, he is dumb and senseless. some ppl from brazil try to paint him as someone intelligent or reasonable like Shapiro or candace but he is not. Our economy is drowning, the prices of food and cleaning products are higher than ever, there is people starving (especially in the north of the country) and bolsonaro is wasting our time with dumbass stuff like trying to change the method of voting in the next election. i am totally against the PT party but pretend that bolsonaro is doing good is pure denial

These videos are interesting to watch yet frustrating at the same time when it seems to always be a kid who read an article and gets praise from his buddies because he “knows” some things then try’s to shut Ben down only to get proven wrong in a very direct way and direct answers. Then they still argue the same point they had proven wrong then result to condescending remarks because they have nothing left to fight with lol
That's the point of the video. The guy asking ben a question sounded like almost racist and Ben opposed his question with a response that shows hes not racist
That's typical of 99.9% of the people who throw the word "racist" at anyone who disagrees with their misguided viewpoints. Most of the time, they are incredibly racist themselves and they are projecting their feelings onto their political opponents.
@@Avus95 absolutely agree with you. It is thrown around now as a way of silencing people they disagree with by dishonestly making this abhorent accusation and that is morally reprehensible and irresponsible because as Jordan Peterson pointed out, using it now willy nilly solely as a weapon to silence opposing ideologies and view points instead of correctly to describe actual racists is eroding the currency of the characterization.
yes he is , i think he is the one who is being a racist too. bec in the end he actually said “the whole entire culture is changing at the moment just so you know” and he sound so unwelcoming in that idea. plus he doesn’t like the idea of ben saying that he doesn’t care of the browning of america pfft🙄 as if native americans were white right. Apparently Brazilian having a far right president means Brazil is a 3rd world country lol Edit: Either people didn’t even bother to watch the video whatsoever or people are just straight up stupid. My comment has nothing to do with Ben Shapiro or what he stated at all I’m just making fun of the fact that the kid he was talking to said Brazil was 3rd world simply because they now have a far right president. I agree with what Ben said completely
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 By the way, I am Brazilian and Ben Shapiro is greatly respected amongst us in the conservative party. That dude who tried to present a tricky question, mentioning my country is absolutely wrong in his assumptions. We elected President Bolsonaro because during his campaign, he advertised a welcome change in our economic and social politics. Brazilians are eager for this changes because after almost 16 years of far left policies, our country is greatly submerged in a crisis, both moral and economic. This change is necessary. This change is most welcome.
@Bruno Brazil has the second highest number of covid deaths in the world, behind only the US. You have more deaths than China (population 1.40 billion) and India (population 1.35 billion), which have many more people than Brazil (population 210 million). Brazil has the 6th highest covid death rates in the world (65 deaths per 100,000 people). For your neighbors in Argentina, the rate is 29 deaths per 100,000 people. Both Brazil and the US have heads of state who are scientific illiterates and both are paying the price. American voters can be fooled, Brazilian voters can be fooled, but nature cannot be fooled.
@Bruno You're right, Argentina has recently overtaken Brazil in covid deaths per 100,000 people. That, of course, tells us absolutely nothing about the level of effectiveness of the response in Brazil, which remains the 8th worse country in the world for that parameter (77.99 deaths per 100,000, as of Nov 23). The US and UK, both run by right wing loonies, are not far behind. I read the scientific press (you don't), and I can tell you what pops up in discussion forums nowadays: covid is natural selection, culling the irredeemably stupid from the human population. Just hope they haven't all bred yet.
@Bruno Anyone who knows anything about this virus knows that lockdowns are not useless, they are (unfortunately) the only way of controlling this virus, in the absence of a vaccine. Anyone who knows about the course of the virus in Brazil knows that Bolsonaro's scientific idiocy at the outset allowed the virus to take a rapid foothold there, even though you had plenty of advance warning from China and Europe. There is a reason that Brazil was chosen as one of the countries to host Phase III trials of the Oxford - Astra-Zeneca vaccine: out of control spread which is the kind of place that gives the clearest efficacy results in the shortest time.

A couple days ago I asked a coworker of mine if he ever herd of Ben Shapiro and he responded with he’s racist against gay people. Wtf he’s not and I told him that being gay is not a race, it’s a sexual preference if you want be accurate and another thing it’s a sin if your religious, so he won’t want to be apart of any event by them due to his religion but he still respect there choice. It will always blow my mine when people hate him when they know nothing about him. People need to listen before they speak, instead of getting offended too quickly. Lies are easy to find comfort when you don’t want to feel wrong and feeling hurt. “Facts don’t care about your feelings”- Ben Shapiro
I'm guessing Ben believes homosexuality is a sin. What does it mean to respect gay people's choice to be gay? If you think they're sinning are you technically respecting that? So if you consider murder a sin can you possibly respect murderers for murdering?
sowhat Yes you can still respect people if you think they are committing a sin. It depends on your view of the severity of the sin and how you act on it. Obviously murder is an extreme example but the Bible also considers sexual fantasies and getting a tattoo as sinful so there are a wide range of sins that have a varying level of public opinion and many we commit everyday. In this case I don’t have a problem with ben’s opinion because he doesn’t act on it and still respects gay ppl. @@FC-fi6dt ok this sounds a bit lukewarm to say you should be able to marry whoever you want coming from a Jew but maybe I'm missing context. No your country is not a second world country. That term has no meaning, because it has been dropped due to the fact that it's original meaning was a country that was aligned with the Soviet Union during the cold war. It had nothing to do with the level of development of a country's industry or world influence (aside from its alliance to the Soviet Union) . On the other hand First World countries, which originally meant US and its allies during the cold war were capitalist and developed countries, so the economic standing has sort of stuck. Third world countries were everyone else (all those not involved in either side). This included capitalist nations, and socialist nations, industrially developed and poor, but the poor outweighed the better off, likely why third world has come to be used for less developed nations... though I think it's considered outdated by scholars.

If americans think that they are having a problem with leftist media and teachers/educations etc, they haven't seen Sweden. It's bizarre.
you shouldn't generalize all black people like that, it just feeds the problem. I know tons of hard-working conservative and moderate black people who don't blame anyone for their own personal problems. Putting a group of people into a box like that just feeds into identity politics and blows past the point. And yes I realize it happens on the other end too, but rise above it and stop giving the media and political parties what they want.
Careful with that. Don't generalize all black people together like that. Some do, most don't. But the same goes with people who happen to be white. Their skin color doesn't change their beliefs. Their brains are what makes those few people idiots.
Leave it to an anonymous RU-vid user to bring black people into this comment thread somehow. If you have a problem with black people “blaming everyone” (definitely not a straw man) why don’t you start by defining everyone and what they’re blaming them for?
@Hid Grod While you are correct about the crack epidemic and the CIA, the issue has more to it than just that. LBJ implemented welfare after Kennedy and this is where you find the tide for no fathers in the house. It was a rewarded to these communities that if the man was not in the house, you would receive more from the government. So, they made poor black communities dependent on the government. Even went as far as to have as many kids as possible to receive as much as possible. You can find this trend with statistics. Before LBJ's welfare there was an upwards of 60% of black homes with the father, now it's lower than 30%. You also find that this is a strictly Democrat thing. In urban cities (LA, Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit etc) where they have been voting Democrat since the 60's (around the time that Democrats left the South and headed for the cities) is where you find majority of homicides and crime to this day. How does a population of 13% commit almost 50% of crime in this country? By culture. So you're right - this isn't necessarily a black thing...this can happen to any race however in the US, this has been going on and keeps going on because of culture. When rap and hip hop glorify gang-life, promote drug use, dehumanize women and so fourth, you continue the trend of what was once considered a infiltration thru the CIA. And some can argue that this too is a CIA operative to keep black people reliant on a type of culture that kills each other so they don't have to. And in any case, that would also mean that those in the business sold out their race in exchange for money and fame. Much like what happened during the salve trade where black men sold their own people (point being that yes, black people CAN sell out their own people). Otherwise, I ask the question - why is a black man more safe in the supposed racist South than any major city in the US today? Based on stats.
