Victor's dog Phillip knows how to operate an airplane, carry a rifle, he also shows human like facial language, and carries a wallet with him. Gromit's girlfriend in the fourth short film acts, and has the intelligence like Gromit. Pretty much most animals have human intelligence, especially Shaun the Sheep.

That doesn't count for a few reasons. She's running a chicken farm, and it's shown she kills Edwina and eats her which is perfectly legal. Also putting the chickens in a pie machine is also perfectly legal, as it's poultry related. However when she literally tries to climb up to the henhouse plane, it's clear she's just killing them over insanity which isn't legal as she isn't using them for food. If all of this wasn't legal, then Chick-Fila wouldn't even exist.

Therefore he’s got a good chance of getting a lighter punishment as long as he testifies against his (ex) wife.

She wouldn't get a charge for that, that would be on the manufacturer since those kinds of machines auto pluck them. However, there also might be a separator when the chickens go down a shredder since we don't know that much about the machine itself.

I'm including this in a future compilation, but I'm aware it's not by individual case of animal abuse. The charges are actually much smaller.
