It's not a glitch, it's a programmed response that all camp members do at random. If Arthur has changed significantly since previous encounter (long hair/long beard/bald/no beard/silly hat etc.) they sometimes do a double take and comment on it.
@@white_vargr1999 I got ratiod so hard for pointing it out on another video when it was clear they used it on Arthur. Everyone swore Arthur naturally looked like then brick house in the video but I use the mod so I know
@@canevas1017 Yeah I don't know why everyone thinks Arthur is some heavy weight that's 400 pounds of muscle, he's just an average guy. The only person in the gang that is truley buff is Charles.
@@deimosok2003 the double take? I assume you've never heard the term? Look at Mary-Beth's reaction - she looks up absent mindedly as Arthur approaches, goes back to reading and then snaps back to looking at Arthur like "wow!".
@@TheRock15793 double take is where you look at a person or object and than back to what you were doing, only for the realization to hit you as you look at them again
@@zanderluciopercaback then people aged realllly fast people looked 30 at 20 so Arthur does look around 25-30 clean shaven or with a goatee but with a beard he looks his age look at all the other random npcs it’s rare they look any younger than 35 or Micah for example he’s about Arthur’s age but looks older than Dutch
@@SpaceCowboy260 25-30 as you wrote is quite close to my estimation. I think the graphic settings may have some impact on our takes. I've played on some higher settings and wrinkles and condition of his skin makes me think he's 30.
The gang also reacts when you're wearing the sheriff badge in Chapter 3, when you buy new customized pistols (yeah), when you're bloody, when you're dirty, when you're wearing fancy clothes... It's quite impressive how they thought of pretty much everything the player could do and went out of their way to record specific dialogues for that, from multiple characters, that most players wont even notice or even get to hear.
I have literally NEVER heard those interactions. I try to keep Arthur clean shaven ALL THE TIME… or at most give him a small goatee on the chin… like myself.
It's probably alternate dialogue for that one mission where you rob the boat. This option is for if you go clean shaven, then the other option is if you don't go clean shaven (Probably because Rockstar devs knew that a large portion of players would like to keep growing their beard that they may have spent so long growing.) The option where you don't go clean shaven has them talking about the hair on top of your head instead of the lack of hair on your chin.
@@yashuab.2979 That’s funny… I remember in one save file, I had Arthur Morgan growing his hair LONG… like a METALhead’s. I can’t remember what was said to him then… but once I got to Saint Denis, the goddamn kids sure treated me like an everyday redneck… like they were SUPPOSED TO, I imagine.
I'm not 100% sure (I may be wrong), but I think it only happens if you choose the "extra clean shaven" option at the barber that you unlock in Chapter 4. If that's what you're talking about though then idk
You didn't show Sean, Javier, Sadie, Grimshaw or Kieran's reaction, please do I think Sean will have a hilarious reaction. Also you didn't show Molly's but I don't think she'd have one.
Hosea: Clean shaven, you look... like a new man. I don't know why... but for some reason I thought he was gonna say "Like a Pansy". Why the pause? He's clean shaven too.
It really is absolutely insane what Rockstar achieved with it. I've played like 150 hours of RDR2 and still felt like it'd never run out of unique content.
I’ve never agreed with Bill on anything until today. When I lived in West Virginia the locals used to tell me “Don’t trust a man afraid of his own biology. We’re men. Our faces grow hair.”.
I noticed all them quotes changed throughout the game, Wearing any hunting's garment sets will make the camp think like you're trying out a new outfit and it doesn't look good and in Chapter 6 they'll think that the TB has made you go mad to wear those outfits.
@@theonetruefusion8533 calm your tits down brother you ain’t talking to your momma,at any point I disrespect you nor did an offensive joke, you look like a nice person we literally have no reason to hate on each other.
i hope in red dead 3 they have it so the main character actually responds better with short talk instead of, at the end of every dialogue bit, "Okay! catch ya later than."
