Majority of people was afraid of Arthur, I’m pretty sure there is a wanted poster made for Arthur and it literally says “Do NOT approach”, Also since it seems like Micah was afraid to stand up to Arthur until he was sick
Cool detail, as Honourable Arthur often acts like an cold indifferent killer to intimidate people into not doing anything stupid, thus saving lives. Micah probably took note at that.
Micah was always jealous and scared of Arthur. That’s been noted many times throughout the journey. Part of Micah always wanted to be like Arthur, and the other part always just scared of Arthur. Micah loves being around people he can manipulate or bully. That’s why he feels uncomfortable around Arthur
ENDING SPOILERS: Precisely, and also the reason why he didn't just shoot Arthur in the back when he had the chance - he had to beat him with his own hands, to prove his superiority to himself...and he couldn't even do that, even against a terminally ill man lmao
@@Jefrejtorthat’s kind of why I prefer the low honor ending where Micah shoots Arthur, laughs and walks off. It feels unearned and it really makes you hate him. Feels so much sweeter when John avenges him too. The game did such a great job building tension between the two of them and making that fist fight feel more impactful.
Remember a healthy micah lost to a dying Arthur suffering from TB and only won because Dutch stopped Arthur. Micah wouldn't have the courage in the first place to go toe to toe with a healthy Arthur
If I remember correctly your honor just needs to be in the red.( This happened to me because I was trying to finish the bandit challenge before chapter 3)
@@bluedevil9377sorry to disagree but not needed…i play honourable but kill people that ambush me or are hurting other people, sometimes bounty hunters and lawmen transporting a bounty, and lots of people in quests, but i’ve got always high honour…micah always stays silent as if i killed too many npcs…and it happens to be a correct assessment despite playing honourable

I guess this is why he said “You’re not better than me, Morgan.” before he kills him if you go with John if you have low honor in the mission “Red Dead Redemption”.
Thats why i love rockstar he thinks about two players. Mainstream who likes heroes and emotional moments and sacrifice ones and their fans who just wanna see blood and rob and gangbang general outlaw type old school players. U know. But it’s all love don’t get me wrong. They don’t ditch their roots. Rockstar OG for that. Cause i played manhunt when i was 9 years old so they actually created it. Thanks rockstar 😂

What mindless killing it’s npc in the game not a real person lol. plus some of us artist who want to see effects sounds and catch phrases they recorded and did animations. Strictly playing honorable is like missing games %60 so in my opinion playing that honorable and cosplaying a Video game character rather then seeing and exploring as art form worst them dumb sorry :)
I love Manhunt. I can go to a games store with a friend and tell him "so I was playing Manhunt the other day…" and someone will turn their head in surprise. It's quite funny.

If Arthur had just shot Micah in the head at the start of the game, would anyone else in the gang have cared ?, Dutch would be a little annoyed, but I don't think it would change his "Plan"
Micah was so afraid of arthur he had to become a rat and sell them out, drive dutch crazy, waited until his disease became worse just so he could have a shot at that money and fighting arthur
Even as far back as the prologue Micah always wanted to be higher then Arthur in some way, "why does Arthur get a room well I gotta share with Bill Williamson and the dark ones?" Micah knows he could never best a healthy Arthur, and once Arthur got sicker and John got abandoned in Butcher's creek did he know he could steer the Van' derlin gang. I was watching a video featuring Roger Clark the madlad himself note: that 8 months ago Micah would never speak over Ms. Grimshaw, but he knew in Butcher's creek when he had the *********s backing and his crooks, and anyone who could pose a threat is when he did what he did. Arthur is after all... Dutch Van der'lin's right hand, always on the trigger.
I got that dialogue after raiding the O'Driscolls Hideout and the Thieves' Hideout in Shady Belle while completing challenges. Micah never had a chance. (and to think that I once felt sorry for him...)
@@SX41799I don’t see anyone saying he is weak. Weak compared to Arthur yeah. But he is just a backstabbing snake and you can’t help but hate him for his antics and big ego in the game. He’s obviously dangerous with his pistols. But he only tried to fight Arthur at his weakest point and got his shii handed to him from a dying sick Arthur.
Micah isn't weak but he is a coward he just fights those on his level or oower if he was in that bar fight in valentine against Tommy was that his name or whatever the big guy was called he would have been killed
Most players will see that second reaction since the game counts self-defense as murder. Always getting scolded in camp for killing too many people when it’s not my fault.
I always got the second reaction from Micah I didn't know there was a difference. I guess only if your honor is maxed out or close to Micah has the first reaction that you call "normal" otherwise he will stay quiet
I had another similar interaction where micah was hreatening to kill lenny and Charles, so i walked up to confront him. Micah turned and asked arhtur "If he wanted to get shot too" to which arthur replied, "You and i both know you would miss from that far away" while also only standing a couple of feet away from micah. lmao.
Micah is textbook example of evil, that’s the worst thing about him, he makes anything bad that he touches worse, and anything good that he touches even worse, he’s a complete monster if you think about it.
got the ending where micah shoots near-dead arthur in the face, details like this is why i’m going low honor as possible in my new playthrough and finding every way possible to harass / kill micah and his little riders lol. “damn us both”
I saw a video (not sure if it was real) but if you have the lowest possible honor and have that encounter and antagonize Micah, as soon as you walk away he pull his gun out again and ACTUALLY shoots you in the back of the head. Like I said though might be modded
