My Dad would freak out with this version...RIP Daddy...He bought me "The Best of Bread" songbook, and a keyboard for Christmas when I was 9. I practiced and learned, EVERY single song in that book....He was so proud....Never took a lesson in my life....This was his favorite!!!!!

"Bread!"...and off she went playing their greatest hits on her smartphone music streamer. I have played a couple of versions of this song and this one is the most fragile. It really pulls at the heart strings. Thank you for the tabs. You play it perfectly.
Masterpieces such as "If" (by Bread) are timeless. The lyrics are undeniably poetic and the melody is simply graceful. As for this guitar cover, what can I say? It is both stunning and, at the same time, quite moving. Crazy-good, am I right?

Hi Jeremy.... very sweet fingerstyle rendition of IF... I like to play the kb piano fingerstyle. Its easier for aging fingers. Plus I can add under the acoustic guitar sound the strings, bells and generate fuller sound. thanks Ed
