It took them 3 games and one DLC to finally add a throwing weapon. All these spears and no throwing attack. Finally I can add some long range attack to my pure warrior builds.
Lautrec of Carim haha i get it because the new sword art online season uses bad cgi and the only redeeming quality is puck- i mean yui or whatever the fuck her name is
Queen, everybody's favorite band *ALO ark" Kirito: Time to go rescue Asuna! Leefa: How'd you plan on doing that? Kirito: By ripping off Berserk *"that" scene* Kirito: GRIFFIIIIIIITH!
Banter Lad you do realise the comapany that made dark souls is a japanese company that made many anime games which makes dark souls a anime game it even has katanas in it
I literally made a build like that just 3 days ago (it's super fun to use along with splintering bolts and throwing knives). Reks people when I get summoned for the Spears of the Church
We thought we were following the hero, but the last fight showed us that our hero was the villain all along... Great plot twist. One of the best animes of 2017 by far.
Hey, I (somewhat casually) played ds1 and 2 but was never able to get ds3 and the special moves look sick! I always thought that the play style was always too slow, and although tactical it wasn't compounded with other moves like DMC games which I love. So this change looked cool to me. Lately I've seen DS fans look at the special moves and I can't tell if they show disdain with the new special moves or enjoy it as like the ending credit here it seemed passive aggressive in nature. Can any of you tell what your thoughts on these special moves are and what your experience with them is like? It would really help since I can't play the game and I think it's worth discussion since it helps the community grow and become more refined.
Personally I think they make the game much more fun. Most of the flashy moves don't add any advantage to PVE but i feel they really make the PVP more enjoyable. I have heard players say that they dislike it because they are not "realistic". The souls games were never meant to be a medieval simulator, they are medieval fantasy. My only concern is that the crazy acrobatic moves should be a high risk high reward. The new DLC added lots of new weapons with insane movesets and I was a little disappointing to see that almost all would combo into themselves. For example if you are using Gael's your weapon art flip might as well just be a prolonged R1 attack because of how it combos from the regular R1.
Personally it takes me out of it a little bit seeing as for example you have heavy weapons like the Zweihander and the Greatsword which are sort of swung around in a way which makes them look really heavy and then the twin ringed knight greatswords are just flung around everywhere. I've always liked Souls for the more realistic than most games combat and the sense of weight behind big weapons, so depends who you ask. These weapons feel like they belong in Bloodborne more than Dark Souls. I love Bloodborne too I just prefer Bloodborne to be Bloodborne and Dark Souls to be Dark Souls.
Which Anime characters were used for the japanese quotes? I speficially want to know the dark voice, I know it somehow but dont have an image, would be kind if you could help out
Bit late, but what the fuck. By my count: 0:05 - Greed/Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood ? 0:08 - I think I heard a microscopic WRYY when he was charging up at that attack, not sure though 0:10 - Kakyoin/JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 0:13 - King Bradley/Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood 0:33 - Joseph/JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders ? 0:41 - Presumably Eren/Attack on Titan, might be wrong though ? 0:47 - No fucking clue, possibly some sort of dubbed DBZ character 0:53 - All Might/Boku no Hero Academia(Dubbed)
Sweet Jesus. That was amazing. Can't believe that the hitboxes are so well defined. Also, Iron Dragonslayer+ Thorns. Never thought of that combo. it's quite nice.
