Small idea (from the golden era of nfs games): pursuit breakers. Certain area’s on a map will have these like construction sites, or gas stations. You can repair at gas stations and also use them as pursuit breakers, and The cops/chasers would be fully destroyed and out of the game, but so would the gas stations. So as soon as you run into a pursuit breaker and the chaser gets hit, they’re out but in the case of the gas stations, they’d be completely gone as soon as they’re destroy. Construction areas would basically just be regular pursuit breakers with no catch.
