To be 40 years old and boxing part time performing the way he does when he's a natural lightweight says something about his skills! Myself, I would like to see a rematch between Floyd and Manny only because their last fight had so much controversy. I want to see if Manny will follow through with his promise saying that he would be a different fighter with both hands. Both are in their forties and it would be more or less an exhibition fight. However, I can understand why Floyd fans would be hesitant to see him challenge Manny because he's still active and dangerous at 40.

I think Porter could be an easier fight to win for Manny because Porter is right there to be hit. Porter is right there in Manny’s face while Danny is a really good counter puncher and could clip Manny, but Porter gets clipped real clean in every fight.

Pacquiao is at his best right now. He doesn't get hit as much. He has learned throughout his career and adjusts his style. He started out relying on his speed and left hand. After losing his second fight he learned how important being in good shape and having stamina and not losing a lot of weight to make weight. After losing to Morales he worked on having a right hand and going in and out. After being knocked out by Marquez he realized going in and out is too risky. What we see now is a fighter who is not going to get hit too much, he's at a point where he'd rather be a counter puncher but to make the fight he would be the aggressor but a careful aggressor, I don't think you will see him going in and out as before. His trainer buboy wants him to fight carefully and not recklessly as before. He does need to fight them, and what a legacy if he beats them all. He would be considered the best of all time.
Words off the ring are way different than facing Manny inside the ring. I know he's old and not in his prime anymore. But this guy still a threat to all of these so-called Top 5.

Danny was trying to get a mega fight with Floyd during that time, but s few loses change things. That was then and this is now is all I’m saying. I’m still not sure how good Errol Spence is yet. The dude only has one good win over freaking Kell Brook and people over estimate him IMO. Errol is there to easily get clipped and stopped IMO. Now if Manny can’t hurt him, then he’s in trouble. That’s just what it is to me-I don’t see Errol as a complete fighter and it’s going to always be, if they can’t hurt Errol cause he’s going to get hit and just keep coming forward. I don’t see Errol as a plan B type of fighter, if what he’s doing isn’t working, he’s done IMO. With that being said, I would favor Errol’s youth over Manny.
I think Thurman would beat him off boxing ability and not cause he stops him. Everyone speaks on Thurman’s power but he didn’t drop either Porter or Danny and he only dropped Bundo once. Thurman stopped a lot of the lower level fighters and it’s just a different ball game now. Boxing media is so soft that if Thurman stops Lopez, they’ll say the old Keith is back even though Lopez been stopped a few times already.

Manny fought Barera twice, Morales 3 times, and Marques 4 times (5 if Marquez had wanted to do another one), and all of them were great fights. I don't know if it's because of Mayweather, or the promoters, or both that we don't get trilogy like that anymore. We can't even get Thurman, Spence, and Crawford to fight each other in their prime once. Seriously, wtf is wrong with boxing today? How I feel about it, if they all come in less than 150 on fight night, then Manny has a good chance, he doesn’t go over 150 and a lot of guys come in 10lbs heavier or more. Which doesn’t really make sense if they were fighting at 147. It’s a different weight class they’re coming in as.
Danny vs Manny would be a really good match up. Just for the fact that Danny, unlike Broner, is willing to engage in exchanges. Yes this opens him up to eat some of Mannys signiture left hands and those lightning quick 3 to 5 punch combos. But, Dannys got a chin and could take those punches, and it gives him a chance to land a that "no look" left that you referred to, or that big right hand that he slept Brandon Rio's with. Manny fighting south paw does make him vunerable to that looping right hand. Just like the one Marquez caught him with.

One thing . . Broner got in to 12th round because he was already running . . Maidanna was lucky when he fought broner because at that time broner does not run too much . . After that fight broner learned his lesson and was never knocked down anymore . . He always reach 12 round and end up losing by decision . . Great analysis of Pacquaio vs. top five welterweights. The only difference in opinion I have is Pacquiao going against Thurman. Thurman likes to fight in spots, so I think Pacquiao could take advantage of that with activity. Thurman is a hard puncher but he hasn't really knocked anyone out in over 5 years now. Also, I thought Keith Thurman's victories over Porter and Garcia were razor thin, Porter especially could have earned that decision, and you think Pacquiao has a good shot to beat those guys. I would throw Thurman in that same bucket, especially coming off these injuries and the layoff.

The reason Terence Crawford has not fought Manny yet is because Arum is protecting his cash cow, plain and simple. Pacquiao had a lot of wasted yrs. boxing no names at Top Rank, showing loyalty to Bob Arum who absolutely I’ll-treated him.
