@@Juleru Yes, a lot of new anchors film ALL of the news at one time. So they'll do the AM, the 3pm, the 5pm, and 10pm news one take after another. These guys would probably wake up a little bit by the time they had said everything 3 times in a row already.

Some people are just morning people. I'm one. I had a job where I needed to wake up at 3am every day and I was fine with it. Then they switched me to a night shift ending at 2:30 and I was miserable

@@balecalduin1993 I don't like getting up super early, like before 6 or 7 but I'd much rather do that than do overnight shift. I worked 11 pm to 7 am for a year or so once. It felt like torture to me at times. I hated it.

I used to work for a news channel and I've seen it happen too, but it was rare and it was just the correspondents who are on the air for 15 minutes top. I'm not aware of any main presenters actually doing it (even though I'm sure it must have happened).

Our local news legit did that. Especially during Mardi Gras. Our meteorologists and news anchor would stay out and drink all night, then come in for the 6 o’clock morning news.

There is no way illegal substances aren't involved in getting then THAT annoying at such a demonic hour of the day.

Simple: Go to bed at 7:30, wake up at 3 and give yourself a few hours to warm up before anyone sees you.

@@pjaxy Check out sunshine over here waking up before the crack of noon. And yes, you can go to sleep at 7:30pm after waking up at 11am but only if you start drinking immediately. Don't shower either, that ruins it. Get out of bed only to use the bathroom and commit to at least one drink per hour, and also be 40 years old or older. No problem. Skip eating entirely, you could be out an hour earlier. You'll only "sleep" til around midnight though so it's not exactly sustainable if you want to keep a job. But it is doable.

I used to work in night clubs. Not the shitty kind, the one that gets fun at 10 am. Night shifts were great, early shifts are surreal. You wake up at 6, go to work at 8. Everybody was having a great time for hours, you can barely eat. Your colleagues are doing ketamine on the bar. You decide that no, today will not be any different then any other day, and are drunk by 10 and FEELING PRETTY FUCKING GOOD AGAIN at 12. Good times.
