He certainly has talent, but the guys no master. You can tell a lot of scenes are directly ripped/copied from the show. The kurama smile lines up exactly with the scene from Naruto's first transformation for example. Even tho it's traced tho doesn't mean it's bad, certainly a creative use of this content.

That certainly isn’t the only timeline mistake: -When Boruto and Sasuke time travel, it’s to after Sasuke has left the village, i.e after the Chunin exams (Naruto wouldn’t know Rasengan before the Chunin exams anyway) -Naruto hadnt lost Kurama yet at the time of the Time Travel Arc in Boruto But the animation is really cool and amazing, even if it takes liberties with the canon story.

Kids won't bother watching 500 or so episode or read 700 chapters just to be up to date with Naruto and understand what is happening. Boruto is for the new generation as main target and they will also have someone they can grow up with since we know Boruto will also become a teenager later on.
