@@Nombrenooriginal first of all, you don’t need a hazard suit to fire a gun, second is that being a nerd doesn’t make it impossible to use a gun. If anything it means you’re better with a gun because you’re able to understand how to properly use one. Have you ever even fired a gun? It’s not that hard once you know how
@@saucelessbones5872 I don't think Opposing Force is canon, none of it has any bearing on Half-Life 2 like Race X and the next stage in Headcrab zombie development. Ravenholm should be infested with those zombies but you don't see any. And in Half-Life 2 someone mentions using the old satellite dish array at Black Mesa against the Combine. If Black Mesa was destroyed, they couldn't use that array.
As a kid i always picked just the ammo and avoided the gun bruh 💀 And also i remember that once the door opened, i hit the button again so the silo door just closed behind me Yes, i was a fan of allied npc's in every game i played tbh and always tried to make sure they stayed alive / safe
The absolute nerve of this scientist, the only reason Gordon had to do this was because that scientist didn't open the silo doors, they're coming for us, it's our only way out. Besides the scientist can just close the door again after Gordon leaves.
I imagine it'd be something along the lines of "you're such a damn unlikeable idiot I'm going to imprison you forever, and if you refuse to I'm just going to kill you"
"I don't expect you to understand, but the legal part obliges me to talk to you first. See, you're so bat...shit, so incredibly chaotic I need to hire you before you fall into wrong hands. It's not that you're of any value, call it... safety reasons. Your behavior is impossible on so many levels, you bend reality like a black hole. Forget Cave Johnson, the man's a god of safety compared to you. Don't let that make you proud, though. We will study you and, sure enough, there will be probing involved. "
There's a channel that tries to ensure all hl npcs survive, and part of that is to not pick up any weapons on the idea that the scientists and guards can pick up the supplies later
@@ic0nic707 that’s insane considering how (relatively) little dialogue there is for them. There’s thousands of hours of Peter griffin but the AI voice for him is garbage.
"it's no fucking wonder why everyone here hates you." I mean he has a point. Gordon showed up late for work, triggered a false alarm, destroyed Dr. Magnusson's lunch, caused a resonance cascade, killed a security guard for his pistol, and now he's not only taking this scientist's only weapon, but he left the silo door open and now aliens will potentially kill this scientist. XD
Honestly though, who’d blame em for snapping after dealing with gordon’s shit and the burden/chaotic nature of their failed experiment for 26 years straight
aaah thats grat but why did someone not think of programming the npc's to run and close the door after you leave to exit the room and give you a long winded rant on how mutch they belive this whole mess they find them selves in is your fault and such
