Get ready for a heart-warming, all-family film from the director of A Quiet Place, the star of Deadpool, and the studio that brought you Annihilation. #IFMovie
@fadethechannel Just because you have never heard of it doesn't make it ...SUPER UNIQUE... also, being an adult has nothing to do with whether you have heard of it. I'm pretty sure you've heard of Batman Superman The Avengers My little pony He-man GI-Joe The Transfomers Mickey Mouse
This is more of what Hollywood needs. Unique, original, and funny but sweet content. Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinksi and Steve Carrell? Not to mention the rest of that cool cast… yes please. AND I get to take my kids to this. ❤😊
It's not unique or original. As others have pointed out, it's a blatant ripoff of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Pretending that it's an original concept feels slimy and insulting.
This looks adorable and gives me Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends vibes. As someone who had imaginary friends growing up, this hits me in the feels. Also, the cast looks phenomenal. 😍❤😍The visuals look great too
Holy shit Judith is growing up so God damned fast!! She won me over with her emotional acting chops in that last season of twd!! When she was telling daryl about where machone actually was and how she didn't tell him because then he'd leave her too, she had me about to lose it
In my head canon, John K and Ryan R are actually the same person. I mean, have you really ever seen the two of them together? Like Clark Kent and Superman. Yeah, like that.
This movie came out of nowhere, I never heard of it, didn't know what I was in for, and yet I already want to see it. Goes to show what a good trailer can do.
I was so excited to make a comment calling this Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. But then I went down to the comments, and realized I'm not creative. Lol
So essentially a live action version of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Which I don't mind. And with it being directed by John Krasinski, I imagine this will be an absolute treat.
I think one of the reasons he does it is because he has kids of his own and they’re getting old enough to want to see their dad in movies but too young for stuff like Deadpool.
@@jamiegduboisBooo! We saw Friday the 13th in 1st grade. No wonder 20 somethings think that they are babies! Then act accordingly! Salems Lot and other movies also. Just discipline your kids! You don't have to hide stuff from them. It's actually sick!
@@OGbobbylocdogg Your immature mentality is actually quite sickening. Just because some kids do watch movies PG-13 and up, that doesn't mean you have to force-feed disturbing imagery to all children. Grow the fuck up and let children have their innocence.
Bj Novak is the reason for his success. They went to highschool together. Kind of like how Ben afleck hung on Matt Damon’s coat tails. That’s a lot of Boston boys, except none are from the city limits.
More than any other actor I've ever seen, Ryan Reynolds genuinely looks like he's having FUN and he loves his life. Most celebrities seem to take themselves WAYYYY too seriously given what they do for a living.
@@sonicwave779 is this the actual foster's home for imagination friends live action project that I heard someone was making back in 2021? Or is this just something they based it off/spoof parody and isn't the actaul one? Cause they call them IFs, which I get the premise but where is Bloo, Mac and his brother and all that from the cartoon? Frankie her grandmother who is the actual owner of fosters home etc.?
This is so great!! What a lovely family movie!! I love a good family movie and this looks like it's going to be a sure-fire hit! Kudos John!! 👏🏻 ❤ As always, thanks Ryan for being such a peach. ❤
Tbh I love seeing this mix of both, it’s something I find fascinating cuz well. In ways both are true On one hand, yeah we do wish to see more happiness and pure things from our childhood Though on the other hand, things might’ve not seemed as jolly as what we thought it were. It’s honestly why I love both childhood/ nostalgia horror and nostalgia as a whole Really love what the films goin for as well!!
when i first heard the plot for this movie it really sounded like a horror story about an IF turning into a serial killer. same thing happened when i heard about "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" so i guess it's more my brain than anything else.
It's about time the world stopped hating and started laughing and having fun. Thank you, Ryan, for giving us exactly what we need when it's needed. Wishing everyone peaceful, fun and happy holidays!
Ngl, as someone who doesn't like going outside, this genuinely makes me wanna see it in theatre, it looks like a live action take on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
It's good to see Cailey Fleming working since Walking Dead is finished. She is a great little actress. Pairing her with Ryan Reynold and John Krasinski is genius. This should be a good one.
Actors typically publish the trailer to their socials when the trailer is released. The same happened yesterday with the Civil War movie and again with the new Beverly Hills Cop trailer released this morning.
Even as an adult I would want to watch this. Sometimes we need to let the little kid inside show themselves so we can stay sane. And what can't Ryan Reynolds do at this time. The guy is everywhere. Maximum Effort!
@@DonDonDealio the great thing about being a grownup after not having a childhood myself, is Now I can live any way that I want to, and I Do!! Just know that for yourself, and hang in there. 💜💯 It will get better, and the adult life you choose to live Can Be the childhood you always wanted. You will gravitate towards (and make Friends With) others like you, and it Will Be A Fun Adulthood. Take Care! 👍
i love this so much. i hate that adults want me to be an adult when deep down inside, i never let that little kid leave. i guess it’s kind of me clinging on to a shrivel of hope and optimism that comes with childlike innocence.

I’m calling it right now, Ryan Reynolds’ character is going to be an IF from a kid that didn’t have a father in their life, who was supposed to be what they imagined their father to be like, and I’m sure it will be super emotional.
It actually looks to me like he phoned this one in (again)... 90% green screen. Most of these actors don't even meet each other during production. If ever!
Ryan Reynolds is just that one actor that can make every movie come out good no matter what he does, even if he’s not the main character, I just love him so much!
I love how many people here just know that this is a spiritual prequel to Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and are 100% okay with it. I don’t care how this movie ends, but that girl grows up to be the little old lady and no one can tell me different.
This whole trailer had me smiling the whole way through😊 Love how it gives me extreme nostalgia of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends♡ the character designs & cgi on the IFs look pretty cool too. It looks like it'll have a lot of fun comedic moments but i just know they're gonna probably leave us an emotional wreck by the end i can feel it😭😅 can't wait♡♡
but why just comforting with cg animation, they could've also use other animation styles and techniques like maybe hand drawn animation (also used in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cool World (also distributed by Paramount), Space Jam and Looney Tunes: Back in Action) or even stop motion animation a la Henry Selick
This is so beautiful! Ryan Reynolds never disappoints with a movie. Big like for John Krasinski, for this, it takes you back to childhood and it feels nice. Can't wait to come out and watch it. Also this is giving me FOSTER HOUSE vibes and it kind of brings back so many memories. Lots of love. 👍
This looks amazing. Not only because of the cast, but we all have had those fairy tales/dreams/creatures/objects that we wish were real. And it will be fun to see what is done with this. Based on that, i think the film will be about learning to let go but always remember the nostalgia. Its a great family centered lesson. Very exciting for this.
I’ve just seen this for some reason and I can not wait for it to come out. Ryan Reynolds and Steve Carell in a movie is a wish that I didn’t think would come true. I’m happy that it is based on imaginary friends because I have anxiety and when I grew up I used to make them to comfort me and tell me that I was going to be fine . I CANT WAIT! ( and yes I will go and see it by myself maybe )
This is giving me serious Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends vibes. I wonder if John Krasinsky watched the show with his kids and got the idea to write this based on that. For anyone that doesn't know, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends is a cartoon that is about a kid who creates an imaginary friend that he has to get rid of, the friend is named Bloo and he goes to live in a foster home for other imaginary friends that had kids of their own who grew up and didn't want/need them anymore. So this old lady, Madam Foster, who never outgrew her own imaginary friend, creates a home for these homeless imaginary friends that need a place to go. There's dozens, if not hundreds, of these imaginary friends and Madam Foster tries to find them new homes with other kids that need them. The show was on Cartoon Network and ran for 5 years. My own kids grew up watching it, myself with them, and it was a totally underrated show.
Putting the F back in Fantasy, I love what if's on the fantastical, heart-warming, inspiring the kids and kids-at-heart, to wonder, dream and believe. No need to escape from reality when the magic we can make has the ability to do all that... 💖
@@thatguydan5867 I've been in awe of her since the first season she was on there. She is the sole reason I started watching it again. I quit when Glen died. But her performance alone was worth going back for. She deserves the good roles.
Little miss Grimes and Deadpool, with Monster Inc and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. Looks fun and John is showing that he is a great director and visionary since A Quiet Place.
A movie I'm actually excited to see in 2024. I get a strong "labor of love" vibe as if John K. set out to make a movie for his kids. It looks funny and sweet.
@@betolov Not much, I would think. This and Foster's seem to have similar concepts based solely on this trailer, but that is not all that uncommon in the land of media. I don't think Krazinski set out to rip off an old cartoon show, just came up with a similar idea. Its possible CN may try some sort of legal action, but I honestly don't think it would get very far.
@@DonoVideoProductionsNah nothing beats the cinema experience, sure I like to watch stuff on streaming but it doesn’t beat watching it for the first time in an actual cinema
@@dylanburton4955 Well, in all, humility...you haven't seen my home theatre! Plus, health issues being what they are, I have to stay away from indoor gathering places - doctors' orders. Streaming has allowed a vast group of people to enjoy new movies who would not otherwise.
@@DonoVideoProductionsthat’s a shit attitude. The world changed because of covid during that specific time. There’s zero reason to keep it that way. There’s nothing like seeing a movie in theaters. Do I want to see every movie in theatre’s? No. But to just immediately dismiss that fact because the “world changed” is lazy and frankly the problem with everything now a days.
