If you caught the latest Pokémon Legends presentation, you might know some Pokémon look different depending on whether you catch 'em all in Kanto, Galar or Hisui! But have you seen what they look like in the good old U.S. of A? Or France, or Scotland? Well have I got a treat for you!
Greetings! I'm Professor Plywood, a Pokémon Professor in the habit of saying the word "Professor" many times in one sentence! I specialise in Pokémon Regional Forms, and in this educational featurette I will be introducing you to some you might never have seen before.
They say an Applin a day keeps the Professor away, and boy howdy I could go one right now!

I…forgot there was a pokemon called Amoonguss. I’ve been pronouncing the game like that as a joke, but now I feel bamboozled. Great video as always.

It was, actually, coincidentally, named after Among Us. It and its prevo make the phrase “There’s a Fungus amongus” due to being called Foongus. This is a play on how it was another “mimic” Pokémon (in the overworld they look like items (pokeball) but then when picked up you encounter them)

@@tlst94 tough question, I think my definition is something along the lines of 'transcending the content in question'. The example you get when you google the definition is good but slightly different in nuance: "an enterprise which reviews the reviewers of movies is ‘meta’, since it doesn't review movies itself" In this case the thing being transcended however is the in-game logic, getting to out-of-game logic. So the meta answers in this case are answers that are true outside of the logic presented in the pokemon universe (i.e. in our universe it makes sense eevee and castform don't get regionals, but it doesn't within the limitations of Pokemon's own universe's logic).

The Zubat line found in the Romania line have taken a fondness for human blood along with obtaining a new evolution that causes them to appear more human like with slicked back hair and a cape like protrusion on their backs. These Zubats have been observed burning in the sun and having a huge distaste towards garlic. Be careful of Zubat bites because their bites can cause you to have the same instincts as them. Travelers are advised to have garlic on them if they’re traveling through the forests at night

I think there’s a Snorunt Variant in the Colorado region. Sporting very covering clothes in an unambiguous orange. Despite this, these things are very prone to accidents, nearly dying in the process. If you hurt one, you’re a bastard!

Ironically I believe the US has the most breeds of apples in the world lol. We have entire festivals for fruit every year too. The burger disguise would work in big cities though. Also, the Foongus design was awesom. I would use that on my team any day!
