The best part is that if his old entry still holds. A regular gyrados can level a city alone casually. Imagine a moving tank that can fire off nuke level if not stronger attacks whenever it sees people fighting. In a way gyrados is a god of peace pokemon by being a God of war.

I mostly just use master ball to the strongest possible pikemon in the region or the hardest one to catch (e.g. three dogs for kanto and johto, rayquaza for hoenn, giratina or arceus for sinnoh and so on)
