Emma would be cancelled on her Podcast for shading Ms Bates and have to come out with an apology video and then would go offline for a year and come back with a video entitled “Hi”
I just cringed reading that. I can imagine her livestream the picnic at Box Hill, collabing with Frank Churchill. All the clippers would have a field day. 😱
emma’s long-standing feud with jane would mean there were fans PRAYING on her downfall. they would have had a festival to commemorate that disaster of a picnic
@@alyssasmith9081 we actually have an agreement written up where I'm with her most of the time but he gets every second weekend, summer holidays and we alternate Christmas and Thanksgiving every year.
I feel like it's 100% in character for Lizzie to attribute the "something in her air" to Mr. Darcy instead of Miss Bingley, like she just remembers it slightly differently because she thinks he's so annoying
She also left out that Darcy actually said he wanted some substance behind the superficial, and also included reading. She must have checked out by then 😀
THIS WAS GOLD All hail Queen Karolina of house Zebrowska, queen of sass and sarcasm, slayer of historical inaccuracies, protector of corsets and mother of memes.
I want every famous writer to have their own podcast now. Agatha Christie getting into true crime, Hemingway with a Joe Rogan style "bro" show, Truman Capote with a "tea" podcast, really run the gamet.
I feel like Agatha Christie would be too bored by how long she’s stuck on one story. The lady loved to make new works, and she had more than one detective she used for her tales
charlotte collins was like "if he can help me live comfortably and i can have books, i'm fine. if i never see him, even better! i don't need more than that" Peak aroace energy!
@@ErwinAponia78 they didn’t even say she had that label, literally just that it gave off that energy, let people relate in their own ways it’s truly not hurting anyone
@@ErwinAponia78 well what would you call people with little to no romantic and sexual attraction? i find aroace to be a necessary and broad term. language is constructed by humans for humans, and it is important.
my mother's dad is a divorce attorney and said money is the #1 reason a marriage fails. I love how this is still relevant 200 years later. People don't change
I have a feeling that if Karolina was able to travel back in time she would definetely make a podcast, and she sees this as an opportunity she missed back in the days.
If Karolina lived in 18th Century England she would spend her days directing servants to sew 17th Century garments that she could then try on and write witty pamphlets about.
@@Felisquoreda My theory is that Karolina is not a time traveler per say, but an immortal who have lived through the centuries. So now some 200 years later she's like damn only if podcasts were a thing back then!
This is lowkey what I love about Austen novels. They show a woman's perspective on life and love from that era. It gives them a voice like a podcast might these days, and I think these books are and were very empowering.
i had my earphones in and started doing something while listening to this, and i got really confused when it became silent because i was actually so interested in what they were saying and it sounded so much like an actual podcast i would listen to. i need this to be a full podcast episode! please, it'd be so fun!
This was shot so cleverly. We have the same candles, same vase at a different angle and a slightly different painting (contents hidden), but with the lighting change it really feels like two ends of a table. Also the costumes are so good at conveying their difference of character, even if you don't know the period. The glasses, the necklace, the bonnet, the difference in exposed skin - it gets the point across so well! And you can reuse the hairstyle, thank god.
Lol I honestly had no idea it was the same end of the table! Karolina always convinced me that her characters are different people having a conversation.
"If he doesn't talk much, there shall be no quarreling" and yet here I am, a quiet man suitable only for marriage, not being courted!!! >:( (I have not tried dancing, though. maybe that's my problem...)
Dance! There are never enough men at the dances. Also, when you get older, you can sail cruise ships practically free if you will dance with all the unpaired women. That might be a steep price to pay, though......
I second the idea to dance! Ballroom, Latin, Blues, whatever your community has! It's a fantastic way to meet new people, particularly if your local dance community is large and thriving. It's this introvert's secret social weapon :D
Not only is this most original and brilliant thing I've seen on RU-vid. It left me laughing. You must do more "historical yet fictional women" podcast!
this might sound insane but i always find austen is funnier if you read it aloud in The Voice, it makes you slow down enough to get all the jokes. i could never finish P&P alone but my sister reading it aloud is one of the funniest things i've ever experienced.
Please do! I personally prefer Sense and Sensibility because I read it spoiler-free, but Pride and Prejudice is a great story as well. I like to think of them as satire of romantic stories and that makes them quite funny
I'm drowning in college assignments for a major I won't be pursuing anymore next semester, and this feels like a breathe of fresh air. Bravo madam. (*clapping*)
Karolina this is giving me LIFE. Your English accent is so good! The writing is spot on! I'm in the middle of covid rebound and your videos have really helped me not go crazy from bed this month ❤️❤️❤️
2:11 Oh my gosh you are brilliant and hilarious! You managed to capture the "I want to be around him as little as possible" sentiment in a way that sounds ultra polite I LOVE IT.
This is perfection! It captured the characters' personalities while also analyzing core aspects of the plot and narrative, while ALSO being funny and modern, and relatable!!
I laughed out loud at the 68% stat 😆 Have you read The Longbourn Letters by Rose Servitova? I really enjoyed it. It's a series of letters between Mr Collins and Mr Bennett
To be fair, my memory might not be the most accurate and include all the details and uncountable videos I have actually watched since I started on here in 2015, but I am still absolutely certain that this is one of the best YT videos I have ever seen. Simply genius. Thank you very much for all your creations, but especially this one!
Wow, TWO candelabras?? How splendid! The podcast must be doing quite well to indulge in such decadence! Almost as decadent as Lady Catherine du Berg's mantel clock.
I think it was a glitch in the time-traveling machine. I noticed that this video tried to get onto the RU-vid starting an hour ago. Time to wind my clocks...
I love it, you're such a good actress, I feel you have amazing potential everytime I watch your vidoes. Please do other versions with different books it would be so fun !!
Madam, you are a comedic genius. I’m so glad to have found your channel! (Years ago, to be clear. Your flat remodeling is so enjoyable I almost forgot how funny you are.)
