Any discussion about “star signs” usually starts and ends with (a type of) women within an all-female group gossiping about and judging others unnecessarily (and in an unhealthy way), it’s always a sign that there is no male / diverse voice(s) within that group. Similar to when guys engage in ‘locker-room talk’ with no one to call them out. There is no comparison to MBTI here because MBTI at least has some sort of basis by asking personality-type questions to determine your personality. Star signs / horoscopes conversely pre-judge someone based on their date of birth and alignment of stars(?). I get that it’s supposed to be a “fun” topic but it can be inane and generates unnecessary drama / judgment about others if not done with the best of intentions.
my partner and i input our details into a star sign compatibility app on our first date without knowing whether the analysis was true, and 3 years later i must say it is really accurate 🤭
Hi Hush Podcast! I have a suggestion for a podcast topic - I am not sure how to phrase the topic but maybe it’ll be easier if I explain a situation to you girls. Say if a guy likes you and he texts you regularly and asks you out, but you don’t feel the same way about him, should you just ignore his messages and ignore him completely, or should you sit down and have a proper conversation with him to make things clear, have a proper resolution and maybe even remain friends as a compromise of sorts. I am sharing this because based on my experience, I have tried to chase girls in the past, slid through their DMs to ask them out etc. but all I get are either no replies or awkward rejections with no proper resolution 😭 not even a single intentional conversation to remain friends. I don’t believe all girls are that playing hard to get, right? Just for context, I am already happily married and moved on from all those experiences but just wanted to share you 3 think.
Personally, I don't believe in star signs. There are always exceptions and there are many people who can act/behave differently despite our star signs. Don't pigeon hole people based on a sign. Love people unconditionally, regardless of race, language, religion, star sign.
