If the Emperor Had A Text-to-Speech Device Reaction | Special 6 | Warhammer 40k 

An episode or two ago the emperor deleted the custodian that was flirting with Magnus I believe. This actually sent his consciousness into this parallel universe which is why he first asked if they had any wizards that create a portal to another universe so he could get back.

The funniest part is that one of the Emperor's finest gene-engineered warriors lost to a bunch of feudal to early modern-ish goobers.

Love that it was the head of the Astra Millitarum who asked "wait that's an option?" When Magnus told them to retreat.

“I am fortifying this iron cage…..wait why did I say that, thats terrible” After the fight at the Imperial Palace and death of Horus, the traitors retreated (ran) from Terra. Perturabo the Primarch of the Iron Warriors and hated rival of Dorn retreated to a planet of his. He turned the planet into a fortress and how he thought defenses should be made (basically an insult at Dorn). The fortress was vast with trenches, razor wire, gun mounted turrets, killing fields, and so much more. Dorn stated that he was going to attack the planet and drag Perturabo back in an Iron Cage. So the Imperial Fists assaulted the planet and were met with unbelievable brutality every inch towards the fortress resulting in insane casualties. After they finally got into fortress itself it turned out that Perturabo wasn’t there and that it was just decoy/trap to lure them in and filled with explosives ready to blow. Perturabo was actually in some random bunker somewhere and triggered the fortress to explode killing a vast number of Imperial Fists. Guilliman eventually had to come to Dorn’s aid to help him retreat from the planet to avoid losing his entire legion and Perturabo got away. This is what I remember off the top of my head without looking it up so there is probably some things that aren’t accurate

From what I've heard about DM's Magnus is being *extremely* lenient in the stuff he allowed them to do. He was by all means a great DM going through their BS despite not planning this out but he let them railroad him which lead to his frustration.

I actually love how Magnus and Leman are the only two with English-derived accents. English as in England, btw.

Warhammer has several role-playing games. Both from Warhammer 40,000 and Fantasy. The Warhammer fantasy role-playing game is currently in its fourth edition. In general, the characters in Warhammer fantasy start out quite weak and in very humble professions, but they can become very powerful and analogous to the heroes and generals of the board game. Races could be anything including sewer fighters or peasants. Custodes #1 understands Bretonnian knights in other words, a questing knight is a knight of the kingdom who abandoned that position in the quest for the Grail. The Empire is basically the holy holy Germanic empire. Most human nations in Warhammer Fantasy are clear analogues of real nations and the old world is Europe. The role-playing game focuses on playing in the Empire primarily, but it is easy to play in other regions of the old world. Sigmar is the founder of the empire, he later disappeared and was worshiped as a god and deified, eventually becoming the most worshiped god of the empire and its patron deity. The Imperial Zoo is just what its name says, it is where the emperor keeps all kinds of creatures and monsters; some as curiosities others used in battle. The jewel in the crown is the dragon that no one except Karl Franz has ever successfully ridden (and he did it only once). Skaven are hostile rat men who live underground. The Hornet Rat is their god. The Lady or Lady of the Lake is the patron goddess and most important deity of Bretonnia, which is basically Arthurian myth with French names. The equivalent of King Arthur was killed by a bolt and the nobility has since disdained and refused to use weapons at range. Peasants use bows without problems. Umgi is the dwarf word for human. Umgak means "shoddy. Corruption points represent how a character falls under the influence of chaos. Somehow the group has managed to cross the mountains at the end of the world and the dark lands until they reach the capital of the kingdom of the chaos dwarves. An incredibly long and dangerous journey. The mountains of mourning is where the ogre kingdoms are located in the world of warhammer. They are known for always being hungry and will eat anything digestible, they especially like meat. The creatures that accompany the ogre are gnoblars, a smaller, cowardly and stupid greenskin subspecies of goblin that coexist with the ogres to survive the dangers of the region (in exchange for the dangers of living with ogres). Magic is powerful but very dangerous and by obtaining certain results you suffer the Tzeentch's curse which basically means that some supernatural negative phenomenon of varying danger occurs. The Great Maw is an entity that arrived in the Warhammer world by meteorite, exterminated most of the ogres of that time on impact and that the ogres worship as a deity and offer sacrifices to it. Something like the Star Wars sarlacc but the size of a big city. Ogres are large and strong enough to carry a cannon as their personal portable weapon, which is what they use in the game.

If you want warhammer content, i recommend Warrior Tier. More specifically, Iron Within from Warrior Tier, or perhaps Lamenters. Plenty of really good stuff that is not long, and wirks often in a short story format.

Glad you guys loved the episode. Not surprising, since this is easily one of - if not, the Best episode of the series. Also, the game they were playing was Warhammer Fantasy 2nd Edition. Hence all the D100's and the smaller numbers coming on top. It's like D&D but bloodier, darker than base D&D, and the reason all the fantasy races in WH40K exist to begin with.

Bit late but I’m so happy they reacted to this one! Definitely one of my favourites.

I always pitied Magnus in this episode. He was a good GM and I was really happy when they squashed the guy with the cart.
