I had one when I was 17 and had to let it go a few years later. I still remember that car with fond memories. If l ever came across one that was in great shape I would seriously think about getting it. Fantastic car!
I highly recommend adding one to the family when you can! This one is very special. Thanks for the comment and hope you are a subscriber and part of the ITCCT family!
I’m a 16 year old kid with a 1969 skylark with cool options all original survivor car I love it very much and feel lucky I was able to clean it up and get it driveable
Wow! That is very cool and what a great car you have! Would love to tell that story because we older car collectors are always encouraging the young gear heads! Thanks for watching and hope you find lots to love here. Check out our story of this young man and his father/son truck story! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qeMV7LOfXfM.html
My Dad bought a 1969 Skylark like this one brand new. It had a vinyl roof, 350 4 barrel and a automatic transmission. He used it to tow a trailer to transport building materials for a house he was building at the beach. He got a lot of use out of that car and traded it in on a Plymouth station wagon in 1978.
@@IfThisCarCouldTalk I remember sitting in his lap when I was six and driving that Skylark over the bridge from Southport to Oak Island. My Mom was in the floor yelling " Morris I can't believe you're letting him drive over this bridge". My Dad was just laughing. That was back in 1975. A totally different world back then. I miss my Dad and the way life was. Thanks for the video.
I love 1969. My dad bought a new 1969 GS 400. Now mine. Its original, only 25000 miles on it. Runs great! My oldest son gets it after me. Love the car.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 What a sweet ride!!! I really miss the one I had. Am VERY happy for the current owner, take good care of her, she's special. One of the fondest memories in my life is: Back in the day when all of the truly GREAT cars were new.... ALL of them were on the raod, all at the same time, every day all day! Now they are exceptionally "rare" except during car shows etc. All that's on the road now, every day, all day is fkn GARBAGE crap cars.
Really nice! Had one as my first car in high school in the late 90s. This car is so close to mine, same color same interior only mine had a black vinyl top.
I had a couple of 1969 skylark customs. Great cars. I have a 1970 skylark 350 2dr hardtop. Gold like this one. I like the tires and wheels you put on yours.
Here are the tire sizes and wheel sizes. Tires. 215/55 R16 front and 235/60R16 rear and are BF Goodrich Advantage TA Front Wheels are Torque Thrust 16x7. 5x4.75 4BS. Rear Torque Thrust. 16x8. 5x4.75 4BS. Hope this helps!
@@IfThisCarCouldTalk I can’t really beg for it right now because I need a job first and I’m from Florida so any classic car or truck price here is just through the roof
A Buick man huh - did you see the most recent 75 we did a feature on from MCACN? A rare and beautiful machine and those Rivs sure are one of our favorites! Thanks for watching and sharing Alex!
