As someone who was sexually abused at 5 years old it doesn't get easier u become constantly paranoid about things in relationships, ur trust in people are gone, u can try and numb urself but doesn't always work and one of the worst things about it is often u get told that ur the problem , u deserved it for some reason or that u were asking for it
I know how it is feel cause I got sexually assaulted at 12 -13 until I told someone but I still have to live with it and it sucks a lot but we can get through it
@bluefirewolf1991 I don't know who you are but I feel exactly the same way I was 3-7 years old untill I got put in foster care and now I'm 15 and still have trust issues and bad trauma. It's like when people really do care for you and want to become something in your life you won't let them because your scared of getting hurt again. Your right when u said something about numbing yourself it works for that moment but your problems always turn back up. The thing about people telling me I deserve it I get told that by my own family my own grandma doesn't believe me so that just makes me not trust anyone even more. I understand where your coming from
I've been through so much and I get others also go through things too... But all people care about is my body! I just want a friend.. I can't even have that😭
im so scared to say this, but i do relate. first time telling someone.. it happend when i was in year 5. i was 9. and it happend again when i was 12. and then i was told to take my top off when i was on a live stream before on twitch. that was last year. Turning 14 in a few month.
I was 4 and sa I toll remember it my cousin was watching and he was younger we just listened to the guy since he was older which meant he was in charge
I can understand. My 10 year old cousin was sexually abused a couple years ago and she only told me a couple months ago and it just breaks my heart to hear her cry and her voice breaking
I was 14 when it happened to me I was so sad no believed me I don’t talk about it much because the guy who did to me didn’t think it was serious. And I got called a liar some many times so I just stop and stayed silent.
I was sexually assaulted when I was 14 by a lad who is currently in my physics class and went to my primary school. It is quite scary knowing he is so near me most days and that I’m not the only person he’s sexually assaulted.
Haven't been raped before, but I have been sexually assaulted by my cousin. I told a family member I thought I could trust and they didn't believe me and said I was being dramatic because it couldn't have happened since he was younger than me and he was family.
i was 8. yet i thought i was making a conscious choice TO go with it, all by myself, therefore there was no problem. i'll be turning 17 in a few months. do check on your kids' browser searches. do have sex ed with them. be there for them. make them trust you. i still blame myself.
I was sexually abused when l was 4 or 5 l don't remember clear. Actually l like noticed that l was raped when we started learning about those type things at school years later and l told my big brother and to this day he is the only one who knows. Im scared to tell my mother because to her it's like lm just her worker or something her slave or something she only sees my big brother and pops passed away when l was 6.
No one took it seriously when I told them I was assaulted, my parents and siblings made jokes, I know it sounds crazy but the more and more I deal with this the more scared I get, I’ve been distancing myself from everyone in fear it will happen again..
