That said, sexual continence is not only for men, but as you can see, I am a man, speaking to men. Still, I am delighted if women are listening too; that bodes well for all of us. Without sexual continence, Orthodox spiritual life is not possible. The ultimate approach to sexual continence is the pursuit of Love, God Himself, and God is the Jesus Christ of Holy Orthodoxy.

I am quoting the teaching St. John of Kronstadt, an Orthodox holy father of modern times. I am not giving you "my" ideas or understanding on the matter. My opinion and yours are not relevant; rather, it is ours to conform ourselves to the Holy Tradition, which is sacred and binding, as is dogma. If you are not a monarchist, you are NOT an Orthodox Christian, regardless of what you may think you are. This is the mind of God the Holy Ghost, and not a philosophy invented and taught by mere men.

I’m reading an old Syriac translation of the Bible. I definitely think it’s paganism to consider the Almighty the same as the Messiah. I can’t find any justification for the trinity in the Bible. I do think the Messiah is the Holy Spirit in human form, perfect and the spirit of love. But he is not the Almighty creator

@@ryanharvey4555 the Messiah literally says the Father is greater than I. It’s against the commandments to make God into an image, so if Yeshua is God, then why are there images of him everywhere (most those depictions are actually cesare borgio which I find insane). The trinity was pushed by Constantine, and even his own son went against it. Constantine saw a pagan symbol that wasn’t even a cross & attributed it to the Messiah, which doesn’t even make sense, he said he saw ‘with this symbol you will take over the world’. And that’s what the pagan Catholics did

@@ryanharvey4555 they changed Easter they changed Christmas like it’s stated in Daniel 7:25. Easter literally derives from Ishtar who is a Babylonian fertility goddess, hence the egg symbolism. Easter was also changed to spring solstice, Christmas changed to the winter solstice and they day they celebrated the festival of saturnalia. Polycarp a student of John the apostle opposed the changing of the day of ‘Easter’ and supporterd Quartodeciman, the celebrating of ‘Easter’ on the 14th day of the Nisan. Too much Christian traditions has no links to actual scripture. May the Almighty guide us all

Personally, I don't wish for anyone that I love to live on American soil. Remember Lot's wife.
