Reminds me of my Tinder experience 😅 'What do you do?' as a first ever question, a general answer does not suffice, half of the time I had an impression I was talking to some HR chick who mistakenly opened Tinder instead of Linkedin. And most of the time, after I passed their vetting, it turned out the other party's career never really took off. The ones who didn't ask and I enjoyed talking to the most had the best jobs. It's way more fun to not waste your time and realise you're compatible with someone and are headed towards the same long term goals and on the same page with important issues. What the fuck is the point if it turns out one person wants a serious relationship and the other is iust there for a hook-up. But you spend the whole first date trying to be fun for the other person and never discuss the real stuff at hand and then find out later you had wildly different intentions. Will end in heartbreak.
