@Philopublius OrientalisFirstly...What a badass name. As a toxic empath If I like a person I tend to filter out the unpleasantness most folks carry. Enjoy his simple yet straightforward views.
Sir, I came back after a couple months from when a friend of mine first posted this video on FB to say, literally because of this video, I sought help and started medication for my depression. I did want to give up. I didn't want to take medication. I heard this in my soul. While hilarious, also exceptionally true. Thank you.
@@lainna5147 Embrace your inner freak and you'll be just fine. There is no one way for anyone. Love yourself and know that you are beautiful and capable of being the best you at any given time and growing always. Best wishes 👍 Stay Well! ✌️
The Einstein coiffure, the Star Wars shirt, the "don't give up" message, you speak my language! Thank you Rodney and may the Force be with you; always. 🧙♂️
I really felt like giving up today and then this pops up. Who would have thought that 2 years later this would continue to help others. Thanks Norman and God bless you.
"But how do I apply this advice to MY life?" is something I've never had to ask myself after watching one of your videos. My inner voice hears and understands the message with no extra effort on my part. You, sir, are a gift.
Honestly, I feel like giving up every morning when I wake up, then I remember my dog has to pee, and my dogs I walk and grambebee's would miss me and I brew my coffee and resign myself to living one more day 🙃 😅..its funny cause it's true
You and I have similar lives. Mine is a big German Shepherd named "Casey." LOL! He's out there in the kitchen whining for one of those "pee" trips right now, as a matter of fact. Gotta run! All the best, Janey! --Jim
Simple wisdom in chaotic times. Exactly what they don't want you to hear. They would prefer you be AFRAID of your fellow human beings, to view each other as bags of pestilence to be shunned. The important things, relationships, family, friends, and the FREEDOM to express those things to the fullest are ultimately what matters most. Thanks for a beacon of light in an otherwise dreary world.
I never heard this said like this. If you're ready for it all to end, then why not make some changes. I don't necessarily want it all to end, but I need your message every day. Thanks Rodney.
Rodney puts out a lot of joy into the world and does a fantastic job at simplifying complex-seeming ideas and perhaps he wouldn't be so good at it if people didn't recognize his grounded perspective and reach out to him. I'm sure the impact he has on so many people really makes it worth it
Yes! I felt like giving up recently but then I found a new job that I actually like and then a few years down the road I may find something else. Never quit is the moral of the story
Hey Rodney, you did good! Your vid DID have an effect! Today my friend from Oregon returned to the fold and posted on our website! I'm sure your advice hit home with him and made him stop stewing long enough to think about the important things in life. Thanks again and keep up the great work! You the man! ---Jim
Thank you Rodney, for making this video, which speaks directly to my good friend way over in Oregon (which in and of itself can be quite depressing). He recently became fed up with the nitpicking of some of our Mustang car club website moderators and decided to just jump ship. This, after a good ten years of good fun and camaraderie. I've begged him to return, but he is being stubborn as a mule. Since I recently began posting your vids on that website, this guy has grown fond of your amusing, but always poignant advice. So, since he's no longer coming onto the website, I'll send him this one to his e-mail. I think it may have a positive effect on the situation. Thanks again, and keep your fingers crossed. I'll let you know if it worked. All the best! --Jim
Thank you man i really need this right now, I dont want to finish it all because of my family but I am starting a new process as i was heading on that direction
Lol I feel like you're in my head right now. Thanks Rodney. You deserve a P.O.B. You're always making no sense but sense of everything you talk talk about. Thanks for the laughs.
Rodney!! So the Mayan Calendar ends Dec 21, 2020. In a few weeks!!!! Dude, I am going to need some advice on how to get through this event! Some say it is the “end”...I just figured you would be the best to help us out...
Agreed. But you don’t have to be happy.I find being focused on positivity fulfilling. And acknowledging and analyzing negativity equally worthwhile. And conclude that both concepts can interchangeable. Of course this only my opinion.
