I have felt this way for the last 4 years! I know God loves me but.....being stuck in the house due to health problems stink! Having said that, there are days that I feel really close to God! He is the faithful one!

Twice now I prayed for a divine appointment as my situation is similar to yours. Both times I became very I’ll and had to stay in the hospital. Both times I was given the favor of having people to witness to. We never know how small simple words can open up a conversation. We can say God bless or I am praying for you in real life and online. Nothing is more powerful than prayer. Thank you for sharing. I many times feel alone and that no one would understand why I feel as though I am not doing anything to advance the kingdom. You ARE!!! God bless you and keep up the fight!

id like to offer you some encouragement, i was led to the lord through a comment section of a spiritual post. i was in the middle of typing up this huge argument to this christian when suddenly it was like all the pieces of the puzzle came together and i had this realization that his words were true that god was real, and jesus died for me. i encountered the holy spirit that day, sitting alone in my living room on my computer. i never finished my comment and that man never knew how much him challenging my thinking impacted my life. this was in 2021

This is EXACTLY what I needed to hear at the exact time. Going through cancer and wanting to do something for God and feel so helpless that I can't. But, in my heart, I love God more than anything on this planet by far and thank Him for everything. Thank you so much for this video, it has really calmed my heart and mind and says maybe I am doing something. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ. Tears in my eyes right now.

The Word says that if you are faithful in small things, the Lord will give you greater things to conquer. I NEVER thought that I could go out and witness to strangers, but the Lord taught me how, and gave me the confidence to do just that. Now, I love it! "They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, they will rise up with wings like an eagle, they will run and not be weary, walk and not feint." Trust God!

I subscribed! I don't do much for God because i tend to be distracted or suffering from my mental illness, but God is helping me to return back to Him and been not just praying and drawing for Him (that is easy; i been doing that everyday) but yesterday i gotten back into bible reading and studies. ❤😊 After i asked God to help me desire reading the Bible, He delivered and starting to fall in love with God all over again. Its the best feeling in the entire world!!!! ❤❤❤

So well said. Thank you. I wholeheartedly agree. I had spoken to one pastor about my purpose, being bedbound most of every day. He suggested praying for others, and if I'm able to make it out, to let God know I'm available, if He wants to pass someone by me, to do something for them, to love my neighbor, whether it's praying for them as I'm standing in line, just smiling, asking them how they are doing, or anything else. Sometimes I just let my light shine in a store, softly singing a hymn to God instead of listening to piped in music. And yes, at home every day, even when I don't feel well, I'll talk to God, pray, or read His word. If my kitty is lying on top of my side, I sometimes tell God we both praise Him (since all living creatures praise God), and pet my cat while singing along or listening to RU-vid hymns, praising God. I thank Him throughout the day. God bless you.❤

That's pretty much what I do, but I can't sing. Never thought of saying that my cat's praising God, but maybe that's what the "zoomies" means. I know that every breath, every heartbeat, is by the Grace of God. I keep dying, over and over again, but God keeps bringing me back. There must be a reason! I like to tell people that Jesus Christ is LORD, and that Jesus Keeps His Promises. Also, that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life.

Dear Elaine, my love❤ I am just coming out of the season you are describing...God's refining fire 🔥 No one can tell you, (though many will try!), how to navigate your season of debilitation! He alone knows what He is doing in you, and what He began He alone is faithful to complete it. I do know that as long as you keep talking, and listening to Him, He will reveal deep mysteries, things you did not know, and they will, and are changing you. Remember, His only goal is to shape you into the image of His Son. And when you are ready to surrender (like Jacob who wrestled all night long with the Angel of the Lord), then He cannot fail in His one true goal! And in fact, it's already accomplished...on the Cross. When I went through my darkest hours, I would see Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, or on the Cross, and then I KNEW I was not only not alone, but He was accomplishing it ALL!!! I highly recommend "Emotions 01 Emotions in the Face of Suffering (From the Fray, YT Channel)" and "A Soaking Prayer for Kingdom Revelation (fatherheart, YT Channel)" God bless you dear child of God! CS Lewis wrote that God doesn't listen to our words, he listens to our hearts. What this means for me is that even though I lack words to pray God sees my heart. My heart condition is always a prayer to him. Words can only express so much, but the heart or spirit can express much more in a shorter period of time. God not only hears our heart but he can and does express himself to our hearts directly to ours. I notice that this happens often when reading the Bible or just thinking about God.

I've always loved the term 'the ministry of small things' because it seems a lot more do-able than aspiring to be a 'History Maker', a 'World-Changer' or some other kind of heroic persona for God - for those who can, I say, "Go For It!" but I now accept I'm unlikely to do 'Great Things For God' but I can aspire to do small things for a Great God! My heart died, and so did I. But it's okay, because Jesus brought me home to God -- and they sent me back I think to let people know that Jesus keeps His Promises. They said that I was dead, oh I don't know how many times. But I say to them, Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And that heart of mine -- I think it was dead for a long while. Kept setting the machines off. But Jesus gave me a new heart, and it works just fine. How do I explain it? A blood clot killed off too much of my physical heart, but only the pure in heart get to see God.

This is one of my favorite messages that I've heard you give. Even in the most seemingly unimportant moments of our lives, it is easy to lose sight of the fact that we are living in His presence. Praise the Lord. The Lord wants us to give thanks in all things and to value each moment that we share with Him. When anything seemingly great is accomplished for the kingdom, none of us can really take any personal credit as it is His Spirit that is working in and through us to facilitate bringing special things to happen. Thanks so much, a very wise perspective!

Thank you Lord for this message… You know me, you know Lord that I am tired and weary, sometimes numb and dull in my spirit and many times I just don’t feel like it… to give you the honour and praise.. to study your word, to cling onto you in prayer, but I still do them anyway, not knowing if I am considered faithful because I do not come to you in the most delightful manner. I thank you for giving me a confirmation that as long as I continue to do these things, I’ll find you… and I’ll find the power of transformation in you.

Hi Matt I have had serious health issues for many years. I know God loves me, and yes I only get through because of God. Since coming to God some 15 years ago, I realise just what a blessed life I have in God . All I need is God, He has given me everything I need. I pray and thank God all throughout the day, for also giving me the support of my loving wife, son, daughter and all my brothers and sisters in Christ. God is good, all the time Thanks for sharing and bringing me to the lord. Love you 🙏❤️

I have polyneuropathy, you might have periods of stability where the pain is less and you CAN accomplish some things. My toes move by themselves, it effects my balance and pain tolerance but i'm living with it. God expects you to work on yourself in prayer, repentance and forgiveness. Please, don't despair, God and You will find ways to you as you desire to serve.

Just take some when out shopping or there are incidental occasions. I leave tracts around on the shopping center shelves and on tables, even among the fruit and veggies.. Take care dear one and be blessed..

Tell me about it! I don't have neuropathy that I know of, but I hand out these little crosses to remind everyone to take up their cross and follow Jesus and that it should also remind them what He did for us, lived the perfect life that we never could and died for us so that we might live. And then I'll hand them a Bible verse, except most times I can't, so I let them take one themselves. Then I ask them which one they got!

Amazing! I actually did a devotional this last week on this subject! Taken from Psalm 1:3 - The man (or woman) who is planted by the rivers of water. We often think of this as being of benefit just for ourselves, but it's also for the blessing and benefit of others around us. Just as a tree gives shade, refreshment and oxygen to any under it, so we as Christians planted by the living water, and having our roots deep in God’s Word, give blessing and refreshment to weary life travellers to whom we have the opportunity to offer shade and the beauty of Jesus Christ.

we are all sinners, and we have broken God's law. Therefore we all deserve hell. But God was merciful and sent Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, His Son, to die for the sins of those who would believe in Him. He lived a sinless life, and then he died on the cross, taking the wrath of God we deserved onto himself. He rose again 3 days later to defeat death for all of those who would put their trust in him. If you repent of your sin and place your faith in Christ, He will save you from hell. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way to enter heaven.

Many times I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing for God, but it's His Life. So I'll just hang in there, ask Him if He wants anything. Every now and then, I die, but He keeps bringing me back. If I find something to do, I'll do it. If I can't do it, that's on Him. In the meantime, the next best thing is to do something for others -- if possible.

Know this my young friends...! A1000 years is like one day to God. What this is trying to tell you is, time means nothing to God. You must learn to wait on the Lord, and He will get back to you, Trust Jesus...! I Prayed one Pray, and it took 10 years for God to get it to me. Not to answer the pray, because the pray had already been answer. But I was not in the spot where I needed to be to receive the Pray...! But when I got to that spot and my Pray was received, my Memory started flooding back to me, of the night I first made my Pray. God let me know He had not forgot even though I had... Know that God is always listening, and He is trusting you, to trust Him...!! Go with God

I have felt like this and I still feel this way. I do think What's the point?" But God gave me the musical gift for the kingdom. I have cerebral palsy which affects my motor skills in my hands, being stiff, But He gave me this gift besides. I love to sit at the piano with a Bible open and just playing for Him. I know it counts.

The remedy to everything is in the Word. Start a conversation with Jesus through His Word-through the guidance of the Holy Spirit-and He’ll literally lead you every step of the way. Everyone’s supposedly praying…but not hearing a word God is saying, because they’ve never discovered the Bible is the key, that it’s a portal to God. I now study the Word 12-15 hours a day…and life is perfect.🕊

You have a wonderful gift from the Lord. The gift of encouraging others. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one going through these struggles. Like I’m worthless to the Lord. I’m not the only one and your encouragement lifts me up so I want to never give up. I love the Lord with everything in me. I want more than anything to please Him. To tell the world how He changed my life, not to mention saving more times than I know. And I see others doing so much for Him and I love that they do but I want to do everything for Him too. You have no idea how much you have helped me tonight. I was literally just crying out to God about not seeing His purpose in my life! I’m older and have faced many challenges in my life which were roadblocks to education and prevented me from pursuing my talents in order to serve God more fully. This message was a word in due season for my prodigal son. He told me he had been thinking,”whats the point?” , so when I heard this preacher say that, I knew it was a message for him. The next thing the preacher said was , open your bible , si I took his bible to him and said if hes been thinkingthat he must open his bible . He randomly ooened it to the psalms and there was a loving, comforting message from God. I believe in hope that its the small thigs just like this preacher said, the small things…will bring victory 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

My life belong to Jesus Christ and i will always be grateful for his sacrifice for me and all of the humanity, but because of my hard life, people does not want to be in the same situation, and i feel that i am not serving him as i want and should. @@leehiyeffet1390 What can I say to you? I have had the most horrible things happen to me, lots of pain and suffering, died many times. And while none of that feels good, I seem to be always happy. Maybe I should say joyful? If something sad happens, I'll be sad because it's sad, but never for long. In other words, I do not seem to get depressed. And I'm wondering if it's all because I know that Jesus loves me. He holds onto me. And I know that He is the King of my Heart. God is greater than all things, beyond what we can imagine, and very busy. And yet, He takes time for me. He is ALWAYS there for me, and He really cares. I have nothing of value to give to Him, so I give to Him the gifts of Joy, gifts of Praise, gifts of Thanks for the gift of Love that He gave me. He owns everything, but I know that He cherishes these gifts the most. Jesus is my King, and I try to bring Him gladness and joy in whatever I can do. Even if I cry, He saves all my tears in a bottle as if they are precious.

@@ts-900 Wow. Your story is so amazing. I Love God with all my heart and soul and i pray, praise and thank him all the time, but the difficulties and endless suffering make me depressed. I'm trying to be joyful but unfortunately i can't. It make me sad because I'm not a vessel that he can use me for him and the opposite thing happens, people don't want to be in my situation and it keep them far from God. Thank you for this encouraging video, i have been disheartened lately due to ears being closed to the gospel in most of the people i meet, i try to start conversations gently but then i probably get too passionate and this scares people. I want them to know that God wants a relationship and religion is not that. They have been so indoctrinated about religion. And institutional churches have hurt the true Gospel message beyond belief also. I will keep praying about them and reading my Bible and wait for the right time and the right place to open my mouth…

I constantly go to God, for the big things and little things, whether I am happy or sad or frustrated or anything. Cause i know God wants to hear my feelings. Still I just want to achieve big life goals so I can become a better, even more faithful, stronger, more intelligent, human being. I pray constantly that God will allow me to become that person. I know God knows I want to improve and my faith in him is going to help me achieve my life goals.

My pastor is always talking about the rewards we will get in heaven and I am always afraid I have nothing to show for doing anything for the kingdom. I’m faithful in church attendance and bible study, I clean my church every week, I help my neighbors but I’m terrible in witnessing to others. I’m always scared Jesus will say depart from me I never knew you.

From what you described you are doing a lot! You would probably think I am a lazy person and a selfish one at that. In my heart I feel how grateful I am to God and how much I love him but I worry the same that you do. That he will say the same thing and that I was much too selfish and vain and chased after frivolous things. I have trouble witnessing also, because I worry about looking weird to people. That in itself makes me feel even more terrible!

My life is governed by suffering with PTSD and I find it very difficult to face the world. I came up with the idea of placing tracts in Geocaches around the our broarder district and beyond. This is something I can do with my family or on my own. We pray that just one will sow seed in helping a person come to Christ.

Thank you as a new christian I always feel that i am not doing enough. When i listen to sermans at church it is usually about sewing seeds for harvesting. I feel guilt because i dont feel that I am sewing at all 😢

Brother/sister, I'm reading this comment of yours and I'm in the same place. God has mercifully called me back home after many backslidden years, and He has given me certain gifts and experiences and I am able to share with people, but I'm not being used at all. None of my gifts or the knowledge of His Word in me, is being used for His glory or His kingdom. I've been struggling in the past week to find my usefulness. But I'm going to re-surrender my life, my will, my thoughts, my plans, my all. And I'm going to lay it all down, again, at His feet. His ways are higher and He's in control of my life. I'm not in control, but He is. I'm still praying that He will do something with my life.
