He's also pumping up his self worth and pay, If he didn't do it he would most likely still be making 40,000-60,000 grand a fight rather than 25 million+. It also pumps up the pay for the other fighter, they forget that he's actually doing the work in press conferences and it benefits everybody.
I always loved this dudes charisma. All the so called fans that are with a fighter or celebrating a fighter after a win. You gotta be there for the losses too. I’m not a fake fan, I have several favorites and I’ll always show them love when they fight. Much respect to Conor.

Sean Diesel as a high school wrestler who cut 18 pounds a week to make my weight-class freshman year. I could very much agree that it’s horrible, but it’s the main idea of being competitive. without weight cuts and will power keeping strict diets and etc. MMA couldn’t have possibly been as competitive as it is to this day.
