To make buttermilk curry you require 👇
* Buttermilk/chaas - 1 cup
* Water - 2 cups + 2-3 tbsp
* Onion - 1 medium size (chopped)
* Green chili - 3 nos(slit/chopped)
* Ghee/cooking oil
* Ginger - 1 inch (chopped)
* Garlic cloves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
* Turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
* mustard seeds - 1 tsp
* Few curry leaves
* jeera/cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Dry red chillies - 2 (broken)
* Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp (kashmiri)
* Salt to taste
* Coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp
(If you want to skip onion and garlic then use 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds and 1/4 tsp hing)
To make jeera rice you require 👇
* Basmati rice - 1 glass/cup
* Jeera/cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
* black cardamom - 1
* Bay leaf - 1
* cinnamon stick - 1 inch
* water - 1+3/4 cup
* Ghee/cooking oil
* coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp
(if making jeera rice in a cooker then add only 1.5 cups of water and cook for 2 whistles on high heat)
