I lost my beautiful mum in 2019. Despite all the wonderful memories I have of her the only thing my mind keeps goin back to is being with her in her last few days in the hospital and seeing her lifeless body on the day of her death. It honestly haunts me as to what her last few moments must have been like. She was my rock and my best friend. It's not fair that we have to see our parents age and pass on

Hello having watched RU-vid videos on NDEs, there was one that will comfort all of us: the person does not feel pain or discomfort when they are passing. It's our privilege to have been part of their family and to be with them when they're leaving their body. Sorry if I haven't said this right but it's difficult to put into words. I just wanna share my feelings. But I’m balling my eyes out, I lost my mum about 9 months ago and my heart really hurts. It hurts so much because I remember when I got really sick she cried, bc she hated the fact I felt this and I just realised how loved I was. I lost mum through cancer, I ddint even know it was alrwady the end of her time. I was so numb that day I didn’t know how to feel. I really wish I could’ve done things before this happened so much I regretted, but I can’t blame myself, my emotions weren’t in the right time. You guys are truly blessed that you have mother’s. I remember when I thought I rewlly was gonna be sick I just fell into depression knowing my mum isn’t there ti take care of me. It saddens me so much but don’t worry I got back up and now it inspires me to be a nurse so I can help The ones who are in needs. My mum helped me whenever I’m sick while she suffered bc of cancer and I WISH I could take a picture with her one more time when I’m not moody. Every picture we always fight of how i don’t wanan be in the picture, it all makes sense now. I wish I listened. It hurts my heart. :(

Could you guide me a bit? I am also a person with emotions not in the right time. But I still have her.. she has cancer but I still feel so strongly blocked to be in contact. It hurts so damn much. Psychologists say that she's been abusive to me and that I should really stay away. And with my mind I do agree. But with my heart I'm so scared that I will regret that. Yet at the same time I feel terrible when I'm with her. Like I do not even exist. I become dangerously, borderline-suicidal depressed when I'm in contact. I have no idea what to do, yet this anxiety of losing her (in this way) haunts me daily.

Remember your Mom is dealing with her own mortality too. just love her best you can.

Me. Although my mom left the house and separated with my dad, she sometimes still comes to visit us and take us out to eat or to other places. Even when I have trouble or issues, she would be there for me still. So I still her as a mother figure. Mothers are the best.

I lost my mom to cancer little less than 2 months ago, and I’ve been in absolute shambles since, don’t really know how to live without that positive voice and phone calls I’d get here and there throughout the week, I knew she was everything to me, but after she passed, I really realized how she leveled me and kept me centered, please don’t take that for granted if you still have your mom In your life, it may not seem like much in the moment, but when it’s gone, it’s something that could never be replaced, I love you mom, I miss you more than I could ever word it!!! So very true. If you are fortunate enough to still have your mom, call her often. Tell her you love her daily. Dont let life stop you from visiting. We always think we have later, until later is no longer an option. My mom helped me through EVERYTHING. No matter what she was by my side. She shower me the value of life and family. Gave me the tools to live that life. Taught me everything i needed to know for this live. Everything EXCEPT how to get through losing her. Mom passed away 11/03/2023. Id give ANYTHING to have my mom back. Cherish the moment you have left.

My mom had me young at around 15. I’m 32 and just lost her. She helped me through losing my fiancé through an accident. She helped me get my life together. I was so busy trying to make myself a person she’d be able to brag about that I missed so much time to spend with her. I’m so heartbroken, but she was proud of me in my weakest moments. She knew how much I love her. I just hate that I lost her while focusing on growing to be something I don’t even want to be anymore.

Lost my mom to cancer on Jan this year, was fighting with and taking of her all the time of her sickness. She did her best, cannot be with her at her last week.. due to covid. Was the hardest week of my life. She was in coma, the doctor said she wouldn’t be able to wake up and say goodbye. But miracle happened, she woke up and said our goodbyes, the picture of her lifeless body is still so clear... She was the love of my life, there’s no one or no any other moments when I put her after. Mama, I love you and will always love you. Still trying to cope up... mostly crying to sleep and dreamt about her and cried again..... Thinking about her, yet, it makes me feel sad, still, all I can feel is the warmth, calm, comfort and love. She filled me with too many happy memories that I couldn’t think of anything else except the love of my mother. Mama, I will do my best in this life and be a good person like you always taught me. I love you, this is the first time ever that I have ever felt that no word can explain my love to you. My sweetest mom ,Your only daughter

I truly never learn what the words “i miss you” were until I reached for my mothers hand & it wasn’t there. Now I know why she always told me to stay strong. She knew that one day I would need the strength to bear her loss. The world changes year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love & memory of our biggest love, shall never pass away. It's been 6 months after my mom passed away.... Life is so empty without her... Losing my mom at young age is toughest thing.... I even lost my dad 10 years ago.. Those who have mom and dad are very blessed..... Life is full of pain

Lost my mom to cancer at the beginning of Covid and now im taking care of my sisters. Miss my mom so much. This life isnt easy. My mom was the glue to our family. Life will never be the same without you mom. Im lucky to have had you for 34 years. Rest in peace. 😢

I'm reading a lot of these comments and I can relate to so many of them. I lost my beautiful mum in 2019 to cancer and other complications. I miss her so much and cry almost every day. I'm 49 and I still feel I need her like a little boy would. I think of her all the time as she was just everything to me. I saw her every couple of days and spoke to her everyday on the phone, even if only for 5 minutes. I'm so sad she's not here anymore. I don't think I'll ever be fully happy ever again. There's no one like your mum. God bless everyone who has lost their dear mum

I miss my momma. I had the hardest time saying "I love you" and mom would ask me to say it. I loved her very much and I eventually learned to say it because I knew she wasn't going to be around forever. Her last words to me as she laid in her bed was, "I love you, yes I do." 3 days later she passed away. Some days I don't want to go on, it's too much knowing as long as I'm alive I'll never see her again. Life can be so cruel.

My mother died when I was 9, it is now almost 4 years since her passing. I will never be able to see her when I get my first house, my first love, even my first job. I can only pray that she watches over me and sees me when I am at my highest, and help me when I am at my lowest. I’ve been told how happy I look but the truth is that “happiness” is just me hiding the pain, the pain that I feel every single day of my life. This year has been awful. I found out my birth mother who I never got to know is dead when my whole life I thought “she’s living her own life, when I’m ready I’ll get to meet her!” I cry myself to sleep most nights knowing that she will never get to see the person I’ve become, I will never get to meet the person who didn’t have to bring me into this world, the person who didn’t have enough in life to take care of me and was brave enough to hand me over to someone else. I love her, people may not understand how I can miss someone I don’t know but most people know their mothers their whole life or get to meet them. I never will, the connection you have with your birth mother is stronger than life itself and that connection was cut in half within a second. That pain is way worse than any physical pain anyone can and will ever go through.

You're just describing the perfect version of a mother. My mother is not interested in us at all, she yells at us, insults us and also uses physical violence. We would do anything to have a mother like you're describing here. But unfortunately reality is usually darker than the ideal.

I had all that and even worse. She died 5 months ago. For years I thought it'd be better. It's not. She's human. Make her feel loved because if she's not treating you with love it's most likely cause she's not herself and you have to remind her she can be a good mother. Before you lose your chance.

To all motherless children, we will get through this. I lost my mum two months ago(three days to Christmas) and I’ve never been this affected in my life. The saying, “life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother” is so true. The gap my mum has left in my life is so big. I don’t see a future without her in my life. She was my pillar, my source of strength and my everything. A huge part of me for sure died when my mum passed on. I miss my mum everyday and if heaven was to give me one wish, I’d for sure wish to be reunited with my mum. Continue dancing with the angels my angel mum and I know the day we will reunite, that will be my happiest day. I love you so much and I will never stop loving you. Sending love and hugs to anyone going through this journey. It’s not an easy journey, it doesn’t get better but somehow, we find a way of living with this permanent scar. ❤️

It never gets easy but the burden becomes bearable. At least that is what I am slowly learning. Our mums are our guardian angels and they will watch over us. It’s never the right time to lose a parent or a loved one but what gives me hope is that, a day will come when they will embrace us again. And that is in heaven. On Oct 5 I was going to call my mom, I called her every Sunday and Wednesday, she lived in Mexico, but I didn't feel like calling, it had been a stressful day with work and the kids and the house and I was in a horrible mood, all I wanted to do was sit on the couch and have a glass of wine, but I called because I knew she would worry. My dad answered and told me he had to take her to the hospital. She had a stroke that day that left her brain dead until she passed October 27th, I flew out the next day but i didn't get to talk to her anymore or say goodbye. I wish I could hear her voice once again I would call her every day. I miss you mom, I'm sorry.

I after watching this i realize how much my mom puts up with- My mental breakdowns and wanting to kill myself My sister refusing to do online school My brother having no manors what so ever Yesterday I was having a rough day and my mom came in and started rubbing my back and cuddling me and that made me realize how mean my family is to her she will be in Heaven one day and I will realize how much we took her for granted❤️

I miss my mom so much I cry every night to hear her voice and hug her I miss her I’m only very young, younger than most but I don’t want to say my age but I lost her all I want in life is to hear her again her one more time and tell her i love her. If you still have your mom you are so lucky… please hug your mom for me and be grateful for her because it doesn’t last forever. I wish I knew that before
