In this video I'll show you an important step we missed when we replaced the DFI Module our Holden Ute. This will resolve misfiring, lack of power and general poor running at idle and under load due to poor spark that is not resolved by replacing other ignition system parts
The steps shown in this video are applicable to most V6 engines found in Holden vehicles.
This is my 2001, Holden Ute. It is a VU S which means it comes with all the goodies, and is pretty much the equivalent of a VU SS but with a V6.
This ute is my daily drive, and I love it.
It has got a 3.8 Litre V6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission and electric everything including windows, seats, mirrors, which for me is a first.
It also has Cruise control, a hard top lid, factory alloys and a different front bumper to standard.
You will see more of this ute in future episodes as I fix up a few niggling issues with it.
