Hey Dan, I’ve been stressed lately too.. I just lost my mom a month ago (she was 50 😢). I had just booked a flight into the town she lived in 12 hours before I found out, and the day after I found out, I had a job interview at a Chevy dealership. Needless to say, I was a wreck during my interview at 11am after crying and getting hammered and crying and getting hammered until 7am that morning, when I finally got an hour and a half of sleep. Luckily, the manager was understanding, and I started my job selling Chevy/GMC last Tuesday 10/11. With everything going on in my life, I really enjoy the people on RU-vid that I can watch and just let go of all the bs going on in the world. You are certainly one of those people for me. I started typing this after the opening line of your video, I’m now 5 minutes in and can see we’re doing bike work. I used to be a motorcycle builder/PDi tech at a dealership, and also made a bobber magna after yours when I was 18, 5 years ago (mine was not as cool as yours by any means of the word cool). I ALSO picked up a GSXR 600 in 2020, and sold it about 5 months later when I realized doing 168 mph everywhere would kill me sooner rather than later. I’ve got a feeling you and I are a lot alike tbh. I’ve been watching you for maybe 6 years now and absolutely love the carefree attitude you brought to your motovlogs, and now your current content with your powder coating/ routing/ fabrication and what ever else you get into these days. Anyways, I just wanted to give you a solid THANK YOU for being an escape for me at the times I needed it most for the past few years, I would love to meet you one day (please) and shoot the gold AK or something legendary. I needed this a bit. Wednesday was my birthday and on my way to work someone ran a stopsign and ran me into a field on my bike. Torn rotator cuff, thank gods for gear.... they took off though, and left me waking back up confused. I'm out a bike, my gear, and insurance was only liability... teaches me a lesson. Gotta find a new vehicle by the 23rd or ill lose my job.

Im stressed out because of the magical issue known only as "Getting shafted by learning disabilities!" I wake up, feel good, 8am, lets go ride, get up and the learning disabilities kick in and i stare blankly at a wall for 8 hours before going "Too depressed to go out now I'm going back to bed", or ill lay down to go sleep at 12am because i work evenings / nights till 11pm, blink and its 8:30am and i feel like shit... i feel i should be a superhero at this point called "Feels like shit man", super power always in a shitty mood lol.

And Dan have you considered getting another spool welded on? Just totaled my k6 in June and despite the broken fairings, triple tree and dash. The broken spool pissed me off the most lol.

Also a personal opinion, if you need to cover your ears revving the bike (or need earplugs when riding, not because of the wind but because of the bike), the bike's probably too loud. Maybe try out some other brand slip ons which have a bit more sound insulation

Tool tip: Never pull an adjustable wrench against the sliding jaw (like you did on the axle nut). The sliding jaw has less than 30% of the tensile strength of the solid jaw, when the force "pulls" against it. When the stress goes into the solid jaw, all other stress PUSHES the slider into the wrench body and screw jack, and it will have over 80% the tensile strength of the solid jaw. Oh yeah....don't hit steel with a claw hammer. Just don't. Here's a project ferya! Build a rolling platform, that will slide onto the car lift arms (kinda like a pallet). Add tie downs and a wheel chock, aaaaaaaaaand------BOOM! Motorcycle lift that can be stored with minimal space needed!

Dannnnnnnn. Ye gotta change that front and rear sprocket same time as your chain, that rear sprock had a good life. You know it, I know it, even Harper knows it. It'll save ya some money in the long run, cause that chain wont last 5 months if run like that, and the old spockets are gonna turn to dust before that. From one cheap Fu** to another, trust me🤙🏻And hey when you get the chance, double check that chain alignment. Thow a dirty rag on the top of the sprocket, rotate the wheel back to pull it tight and look up the links to the front sprocket. If she ain't straight as MF (and I mean REALLY straight), re-adjust. Without the rag and looking up the chain you would see the chain dance left and right if its out of alignment as well. I trust the chain alignment over the space on the adjusters. Just looking out for ya buddy😘, chain and sprockets ain't cheap! Thanks for the vid, I like this kind of vid!

Bro, just get a bolt extractor kit first before messing with the swing arm. Try the screw a hole in it and then using a reverse threaded extractor method.

Me saying I’m stressed is an understatement, I use my truck for work(hotshot freight) and it’s falling apart even with maintenance and if the truck fails then money stops flowing and I can’t get anybody to approve me for a truck so I end up having to rely on people that need out of a truck payment and take theirs over. I keep a hood look on my face for my kids but man I’m falling apart because I know of something happens it’s over and we start at Square one.
