Right in the feels... just finished a 3 year relationship for this. I felt alone the past 3 years like a bird in a golden cage, I fell into the "only one in a lifetime relationship" thinking and stuck with him with because of the "I will change, please dont leave me" and the "I dont know if I can go on if you leave me" (my first relationship). Jay, i have learned so much with your videos during my reflection time after a month of me ending the relationship. Unfortunately for me I did feel in love with this man but was not truly happy, only content.

After watching this video it clearly shows me where I went wrong with my behavior towards the girl I have loved the most. The stress at my corporate job, making her wait for me for weeks in a remote relationship and then the financial pressure my family brought me unwantedly into, conspired my neglecting behavior towards my girl. Good women never plan to leave their love overnight but when things don't change for more than 3 years, the inevitable is bound to happen. She forgave me so many times but I just couldn't change my situation and when I indeed succeeded, she had given up. Sometimes all these external stress factors take a huge toll on you and we succumb under the pressure not knowing what we're doing. My advice to everyone is to open your eyes and calmly work through your problems collectively before you loose the person you love the most.

I was dating this guy and it was wonderful dates, but then he stopped texting very often, made excuses not to meet and I finally took a stand and told him how I envisaged a relationship to be and that this wasn't working for me. Initially it seemed like he was read to change then he texted me "It is not working for me either". This video confirmed so much that just because you have had few lovely dates in the past that does not define how your relationship is on a day to day basis and it wasn't good!

This is my experience im on cancer treatment and now I been treated disrespected. Distant. She’s in the phone. Etc. Etc. Etc. This doesn’t mean she’s a bad person what im trying to say is this. The key in having a connection with your partner is to be friends first and listen and watch your interest in how he responds and talks to and with you. The last man I dated he was only concerned with his ex wife. I knew that there was not a real connection with him and eventually let him go. Too many men and women date and get married for not the right reasons to why many relationships fail. God says marriage is what you make of it. If you believe in Christ I can tell you a relationship with a secular mate will not work out for the better. Even Christ advised his followers to not marry outside from those who do not have faith in Him.
