RU-vid debuted, social media started taking off, going viral started to become a thing, Brittney shaved her head, Kobe was king of the NBA, The Motorola Razor, iPods, Tivo, the greatest video games ever made, the Apple Consumer technology revolution. Those 2 years just gave off a great vibe .
No they were the thing back then, my mom got me one for my birthday and I freaked out it had the light up wheels and everything, my and my friends would always ride them we were the scooter club
We're all teenagers now, yet we're all looking back on our childhood as adults would in their 30's or something. I feel like a lot of Gen Z grew up a little too quickly for our liking. Maybe because of how exposed we were growing up, but who knows. Personally, I had a very lonely and isolated childhood, so it's nice to at least look back on these things on the internet with other people because I never had the chance to experience it with others when I was younger. 2005 here going on 16 soon Edit: so like I’ve been 16 for a while now lol
The worst thing about birth dates is probably being born in January because for example if it's a video for 2005-2006 they'll dismiss you but you're only a few months younger than them

2007 kid here and I can remember everything here and it just makes me feel old and sad that my childhood went by so quickly I wish I could go back to being 8
I’m 16 now, it’s surreal when I think about that now I can drive, I’m in high school. In a few years I’ll be going to college and living on my own. It feels like just yesterday that I was running around my yard playing tag, jumping on the trampoline, riding my bike with friends. Me and a friend went on a walk on some nature trails near my house after he dropped off the files my dad needed to do his mom’s taxes, and it made me think that it was the first time in a long time I had spent time with a friend in person outside of school in a long time. We’re all teenagers with not a long time until adulthood, we need to make the best of the remaining years of our childhood. So call a friend, hang out, I promise you won’t regret it.
Time flies by fast. I‘m 22 now and adulthood can be very stressful. Wouldn’t call me full adult yet, still a way to go. But time is rare now and always I meet a friend it feels great, like years ago.

I feel like this is accurate since I know some people who were born in 2007 and they’ve played or used most of the things in this video. But the generation after 2002-2007 were more of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one generation. We were the Club Penguin/Nickelodeon generation.
I was born in 2008 but I still remember playing on the ps3 a lot. I just really want the rest of the kids born 2008 to be better. It feels like I was born in 2007 cuz I had the same childhood as you guys but I had it less. Watching avatar on those huge box tv’s before it came to Netflix recently was fire. I wish I had just one more year of that.

I just wish the other kids my age would stop acting all “cool” and have actual god damn fun without being a toxic piece of ish. I’m sick of it and just want to have a good time like in the 2017’s. I remember in 6th grade when there were 8th graders that were in the classroom cuz of detention. They were playing on their ds’s. We talked about our childhoods and had such a good time. I’d rather have kids my age and play fortnite with them. But I don’t so I hate fortnite cuz it’s full of weird kids. It’s either 5-12 year olds or trash talkers. So I’m more of the 2006 kids. I am a 2004 kid as well. However, I am from the 2004-05 era. Because of my autistic nature, combined with my ADHD, I tend to get impulsive, hyperactive, have super short attention spans (no matter how hard I try to stay focused), have difficulty in getting jokes or sarcasm, and even not get along with typical people. They tend to talk about typical kid things like Fortnite and games, whereas I am more factual and I am like "Did you know that..." I also have a very steaming hot temper and I get annoyed super easily.

I’m 03 but yeah anything after 2015/2016ish was really depressing and politics started getting really fucking toxic and new movies and video games weren’t getting as exciting 😔
For me, becuase of how small of a town I live in, my autistic outbursts in early 2018 seem like how a typical bully would act. But it came to a boiling point when a 6th grade girl sang at my face (I was in 7th grade back then) and I had a violent outburst (I put my hands on her upper arms). But because of them treating me like a typical student and not a special needs student like I really am, they thought I was bullying the girl. They slapped me with a 3 day suspension and 1 day of ISS, and I thought it was all over. But the school pressed charges on me that my mom and I had to fight.
So I was born in 2007 so I can't say I relate to every picture but the ones I do hit hard. Playing Nuketown with my cousins. scared me with fnaf. those Spider-Man gloves you would hook up a can of silly string into. And so much more I miss those days but I’m 14 and I have more memories to make.
Don’t remember any cable shows or club penguin since I didn’t have cable or internet back in the early-mid 2010s. Still don’t have cable and don’t have internet other than 4G LTE.
My family had cable TV and internet access but the internet was only for the computer in our living room and it was connected to the internet via an ethernet cable

the 2000s and early 2010s were very culturally influenced by the early-mid late 90s. i was born in 2007 but have some memories of 2008 and 2009, and those were definitely influenced by the 90s. I remember back when TV ads were really basic and had a solid color format and actually had character, unlike todays overenergetic kids toy commercials. Today’s children are in constant need for overstimulation by crazy lights and over exaggerated animated kids movies.
I have some vague memories of when I was 1 and 2 but I wasn’t conscious so doesn’t count. Seems like almost everyone I know don’t know what’s going on around them till they are 5 or 6.
No it does not you are still 2006 Thats like saying I was born on december 30th 2005 that kinda make me 2006 right? it does not being born early in the year like january or february does not make you born in the previous year. It does indeed mean your closer to the previous year than you are to most months in the current year but it does not mean you are straight up born in the year. You are infact older than most people born in the same year as you though
DW Nation actually 2004 maybe because most of them started elementary school in 09 4-5 is full kid in my opinion I think 2004-2005 should qualify for 2000s childhood 2006 no also 2004 were full kids in 2008-2009 I think personally to be a kid of that era you have to be between 4-12 years old
You should see in 2017 Instagram nostalgia posts with captions like "only for 1998-2003 kids not for 2004 Fortnite jake Paul kids". People used to bully us 2004 kids when we were 13 and now people started a meme in 2020 that 2007 are Fortnite kids. Trust me, in 3 years people will say that 2010 kids are Fortnite kids.
