When I was 7 and my little brother was 3, my parents left us for a week-ish long vacation, but they divided the time amongst different hosting parties 😅 three days with one set of grandparents, three days with another set of grandparents, and a few days with family friends. Not too overwhelming for any of them, got quality time with the gparents who spoiled us like crazy and had sleepovers for days with our best friends? Sold.

I think one thing you are paying for when it comes to a photographer and other such for a wedding is reputation, reliability and consistency. The more important the occasion, you do not want someone to mess it up or no show. A skilled photographer will know how to set up the shots with good lighting and talk clueless people into good poses. I have seen some pitiful wedding photos where the lighting was bad and so were the poses, they looked so bad. They also don't get drunk and somehow ruin all the negatives or files so that you don't have any pictures. It's one thing to use your phone for vacation photos, another to hire an amateur for a special occasion.

Just some info: The history behind the Starbucks logo is that the logo is a siren which is why many pastors preach against it. A new principal at the college preparatory charter school I taught at, invited an up-and-coming comedian that went to her high school to address our students. Controversial event, but sooo funny! Examples: That one popular kid who is kinda jerky, laughed too loudly and clapped over the top at a joke that was funny but not that funny and drew attention to himself, obviously he was mocking the comedian. The comedian smiled at the kid, waved”Oh hey! 👋 Glad this school is inclusive. Your special ed students are here.” That joke was a hit immediately(except for those who don’t understand comedy and thought it was an insult to sped students) At some point later another student takes a jab from the stands and says, “I don’t get!” The comedian replies immediately, “You know what you’re not going to get? Your diploma that’s what.” Roaring laughter even from teachers. Afterward, we had an after school ad hoc with all teachers to address damage control because some students felt the comedian crossed the line with several jokes. Ultimately, we decided to explain what comedy is and how it’s meant to take jabs. It’s its own genre, and should be seen from that lens. A comedian was never again invited to our campus, but he did fantastically in my opinion. Loved it.

We don’t have tall people in our family , I’m 5’3, husband is 5’8. Our daughter is 9 years old and 5ft right now! We don’t know where she got her hight and she doesn’t want to play basketball. 😢 dang it. 😂

You brought up IMG when you were talking about high school boys vs the WNBA. Well I live down the road from IMG and we go to their basketball games! We have met Oliver, the 7'6" player, and he is literally the tallest teenager in the world according to Guiness Book of World Records! We were expecting his team to be phenomenal but they just looked like a typical high school team...they actually lost one of the games we were at, to a local public school. So height doesn't always guarantee success in basketball! My son Anthony is the shortest kid in the 8/9 yr old basketball league, but he is top 3 in the league! Bottom line, the WNBA would lose to the high school boys....LOL

Love you guys but you got my blood boiling saying wedding photographers edit in 10 minutes and pay $20 for presets, $1000 for a camera, $2000 for lenses. Soooo inaccurate lol. I'm literally drowning in wedding and engagement photos right now. But yes, editing video does take 10x longer than photos!

Good show but I think you all missed the point about Starbucks. The pastor was most likely referring to the symbolism. The logo is a Siren which is basically a demonic mermaid with a split tail. In Greek mythology, they lured men with their beauty and voices to their deaths. I still go to Starbucks but the guy had a point. You won’t find that by searching “Starbucks witch” or “Starbucks sexual deviants” come on guys lol

That church is global vision bible church just outside of Nashville. Calling it a church is a bit of a stretch 😂
