Years ago, as soon as I heard of the term 'woke' and saw the application, I immediately thought of 2nd Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." and 3:7 "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." It's simply the unrighteous pretending to be righteous. Fight the lies of the devil! God Bless

God is not calling us to be woke. He is calling us to be AWAKE to the reality that God has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light (Eph. 5:13,14).

Man this pastor speaks so clearly on truth and reality. A man easily followable.

This makes so much sense and solves a mystery for me. Recently I decided I should take my children to church both so that they can be saved and so that they can grow up with an unchanging objective moral standard handed to us by God. So we set out to find one. But each one we visited didn't sound like the Church I remember and grew up with.... but instead sounded like Susan in my HR department... Woke. At first I couldn't understand it. Why were all the churches around me preaching things that were outside of the Bible, and oftentimes even antithetical to the Bible? And now I understand better why, thanks for the very very informative explanation.

This is the best message I've ever heard concerning the "woke" social justice and critical race theory walking into the Church as a whole. Present the bait, but hide the hook. "Anything less than 100% truth is a lie. A 98% truth of the Bible and the Gospel is equally as dangerous as no truth at all." Dr. Walter Martin, author of Kingdom of the Cults.

Amen! The churches in my area behave more like tax-free country clubs than Churches that belong to God, in my opinion.

Excellent exposition of the "evil woke" movement 👌 ‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭KJV‬ For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

One thing that really got me is when churches were shutting down during covid because the government says so. They have the say as to where or when we meet for church.

I, so much, enjoyed reading many of the comments, As a senior Canadian, living in the, once, lovely country that has fallen into the “black hole” of wokeness. It strengthens me to realize that there are so many other brothers and sisters in other countries who know what is going on in these latter days.

So insightful. It is actually what makes me cry out to Jesus to not let His church be deceived and deceive others. Thankfully, my church is not letting Wokeness in. But, I am horrified almost daily by what is happening to the Church. We have failed and are affirming people in their sins instead of leading them out of their sins. Jesus is sufficient and our identity is only in Him.

🗣️I’ve never been big on politics but since this “wokeness” agenda has started I have been doing more research than ever on the people who are running for political positions in my community‼️

It breaks my heart that this is happening to my beloved church of almost 20 years. It seemed gradual but then all at once. The first sign was the lack of preaching against abortion when the Planned Parenthood opened across the street. Then I heard the reason that happened was at least 20% of the congregation was pro the killing of babies. So disturbing. My heart breaks still and I left before the pandemic. I miss my old church in the old broken down building.

Great preaching on this channel. Makes me want to find a good Faithful Church to attend. Unfortunately I can't drive and even if I could the Churches this side of my state are fulled with woke heretics.

I'm "pink". I was drawn to listen to this man before he even got this far. I heard the word of God speaking through him from the the first few minutes... Very blessed to have happened upon him.

From what I've seen of this WOKE in the church even within my own family is these folks feel they are actually improving on the bible's teaching and Jesus!!!! One person in my family is completely alarming with this madness, it's kind of like they are going to out Jesus, Jesus. I used to belong to one of those churches. I got tired of being chided for daring to be Caucasian. That church used to be one of the largest, most vital Baptist churches in my hometown. It’s so very sad.

I've heard 1,000s of times and know the woke side but never understood what the word meant. Or why they would call it that as for me awake means knowing what's going on and why. To me they are plain asleep and being drug into darkness proven by there mental illness and hostility towards anyone not believing the lie. I know Yeshua is coming so soon so I don't worry about things I can't change until God impowers me. Soon He will pour out His spirit on all His people and His servants will do greater works than He. Actually, referring to Ephesians 4:11,the mentioning of "pastors" doesn't point to preachers but to the elders, aka the shepherds of the congregation (see 1Peter5:1-3).

Absolutely great message. Very biblical. One curious question though. When quoting Andy Stanley I wonder why he omitted the word "clobber" when Andy said, "...I know all the clobber passages...". I've seen that video of Andy numerous times and he says "clobber passages". Andy's view of Scripture is bad enough but when he says "clobber passages", that reveals without question that he rejects the authority of God's Word.

If you are a member of a church that goes woke, and you don't promptly wipe the dust off your feet as you walk away. If you tolerate this, I question your relationship with Messiah.

The church my elder daughter attends and leads early worship in is such a church. They have a female pastor, and rainbow flags are all over their website. I was horrified and expressed my concerns to my daughter that three of my grandchildren are exposed to this heresy each Sunday. She has not spoken to me since, and told my other children that I am a danger to her children.

Amen. We are called to transform the sinner thru his introduction to the living God and His Son Who offers salvation and rebirth into His Kingdom by acceptance of His sacrifice and gift of grace. 10/10 My only critique would be when he said that gender dysphoria isn't real. This seems to be a real issue people struggle with, but I don't think it is physical disorder but a mental one. I can't understand how gender supposedly isn't about hormones and genitalia but it is how we fix gender dysphoria.

I confirm this message. I have interviewed hundreds of 'elders' across this country and his message is exactly what I see in their 'leadership' efforts. I've yet to even meet one time in all these interviews a single 'elder' who has picked up the Bible to study it for themselves; if this is how the leaders act, how much worse off are the parishioners? We need serious revival according to what God calls us to do in the church: lead our parishioners into 5 layers of leadership.

There is no doubt in my mind that wokeness is destroying churches and misleading congregations. But I would remind us that the Church is the body of born-again believers of Jesus Christ. It may be diminished or not, as the case may be, but it is alive and well. We need to differentiate between the true Church of Christ and the "so called" visible church that I like to call Christendom (but maybe with a small c).

Our congregation left our denomination because of wokeness it so corrupted it we could not ignore it any longer - it was a sad day when we all voted to de-associate…

Let's zoom in (1) Mat.28.1...as it began to dawn... (2) Jhn.20.1...when it was yet dark... I'am confident that a 10y.o knows that "when it was yet dark ", comes before "as it began to dawn." Jhn.20.1-2 Paraphrased. Mary Magdalene arrives at the tomb when it is dark, and the tomb is empty, she hasn't seen any angels or a resurrected Measiah. Iam positive that you need a body in the tomb at sunrise to have a Easter Sunday Sunrise Resurrection. Mat.12.40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Mat.16.21¶From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. What are these "good works" that God had before ordained, that we should walk in them? Let's do a quick word study on the word "WALK" Exodus 18:20 KJV - And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must WALK, and the work that they must do. Leviticus 18:3 KJV - After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye WALK in their ordinances. Leviticus 18:4 KJV - Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to WALK therein: I am the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 5:33 KJV - Ye shall WALK in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. Deuteronomy 8:6 KJV - Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to WALK in his ways, and to fear him. Deuteronomy 30.16In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to WALK in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. This is only a partial list. Again, I believe a 10y.o could pick up on this , not rocket science. Do you know what's going on ? A Strong Delusion, brought on by the teaching of the traditions of men, as if they were the Word of God, and prefering the lie to the Truth. The Lie, the Council of Nicaea. The Truth, the Counsel of God, Gen-Rev. Anti-christ is also anti-Commandments of God. Serious times are here. Time for God's people to get serious. The same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, He who was, who is, and who is to come. Walk in His ways , you will be blessed when you come in, blessed when you go out.

Why doesn’t the church speak about theses abominations going on in the open and being supported by church and political leaders. The church silence about is worse that openly promoting it.

As Answers in Genesis ALWAYS says....There is only one race, the human race! Everything else is just different hues of brown!
