Everyone thinks I'm blind, deluded and stupid because I don't believe in evolution or a millions/billions years worldview. They all ask why I would believe in a fairytale. I tell them because it makes the most logical sense. I've been secluded from family and friends for it. To the point that I'm walking alone in 2024. The thing that amazes me is how upset they are.I wasn't ready for the anger part. I try to tell them it's ok that you think I'm crazy for believing the Bible. But the anger part is just something I'm wasn't ready for. Is there anyone experiencing anything like this?
It's the internet, so I can be blunt for some reason. Your family and "friends" sound like a clut. Be glad you're not in it. That said; you do get to choose your friends. I pray you find yours. Keep in mind most people can count true friends on one hand and only hurt people hurt people so keep an eye out for that. God bless and stay strong. Edit: Don't be afraid to stick up for yourself. But remember that people who get made at your thoughts are a waste of time and energy. Best to just move on. They're not your friends if they can't not get angry in your presence because of the things in your head. That's like some type of brain bigotry. Racists of the mind if you will.
I lost a good friend of about 30 years when I told him I believe in Christ, and that the Bible is the truth. We argued about it for a little bit, and I believed he was ready to throw fists because I didn't agree with him. But you know what? I was confused for months afterwards until I realized that he was angry at God (and therefore me). Recently though, he contacted me out of the blue to get together. So just pray and have faith!

God Is Great in Love and Mercy Scripture proclaims that God is love (1 John 4:8). The greatest display of God’s love for us was His choice to send down His only Son to be tortured and killed to atone for our sins so that we may have eternal life (John 3:16).
Did Father really send His Son to be tortured, or was that Lucifer's doing? Did the Cross have anything to do with redemption of sins. Was it not the plan, that He be sacrificed at the Temple? Was His defeat of Lucifer (Hell) and the liberation of many in Hell, after the crucifixion; the actual Atonement action that addressed the sin of the Fall and opened the way for the faithful to get past the Accuser and return to Father?

This is such an important message. So much of modern thought is established on myth, stories that are made up with no support. We live in a modern version of greek and roman mythology. Stories with no meaningful foundations. God has graciously given us a documented history. It is real and true.

I'm a christian and I recognize the logical leap to go from the Bible being historically true to correlating it to the gospel being true. I believe the gospel to be true, but the accuracy of the historical record as told in the rest of the bible is evidence to its validity, not proof. There is evidence and logical deductions that can be made, but the statement is oversimplified to say that "because the history is correct, the gospel must be too."

I’m a Christian. I’ve studied history relentlessly. And I completely disagree with the timeline that this man has presented for when the Flood took place, and when Babel took place. It would have taken longer than a thousand years for these populations who were spread across the face of the earth by God to reach the numbers they did. I’ve heard many scientists (secular and Christian) and many historians (Christian’s and secular) and many pastors tell me directly “I’ve thought the same things about some of the subjects in book of Genesis, and we won’t know the full truth of those events until we each get to heaven and instead of asking I believe we’ll just have the knowledge put into our minds by our creator.” Because another thing I believe is mistranslated in the Bible is I believe that each day in the creation story took place over 14 billion years. Moses might have been able to comprehend that amount of time, but the majority of people of his time wouldn’t have been able to comprehend such a large number. I believe each day was 2 billion years. No one knows how long a day is to the Almighty. And a lot of other born and raised and saved Christians I know and have met believe like I do. Call me a heretic. Or not a true believer all you want. But I fully believe that God created this universe, and created every living thing on this planet whether it’s still alive or it’s now extinct or dead, and I believe he created other worlds like ours throughout the universe. I believe he sent his son to die for each and every one of our sins. And I believe Jesus Christ rose from the grave 3 days later.

Been reading the Bible for 45 years, and a Christian also, I'm not interested in contradicting it. However, during the great flood, the continents either split up or were rearranged, including the planet 🌎 was not necessarily on tilt before the flood dince the 4 seasons are not mentioned until after the flood. With this in mind, it would mean that EVERY stone 🪨 monument that lines up with stars or the summer or winter solstice or equinox of the sun 🌞, would have to have been built AFTER the flood. Considering the age of those things, anyone who proposes that we have only been here for 6000 years has completely ignored a lot of hard evidence. This includes not reading the book of Genesis properly to get all of the information being presented there. So they can talk alot, but it dont mean that they know what they are talking about.

AT 11:10 you say about length of life, that "maybe it was because people didn't eat meat, because people weren't ALLOWED to eat meat" (something like that). How can that be if in Genesis 4:2 Abel was a keeper of sheep?

This is quite interesting, but it doesn't answer the question of how we are distinctively different especially if we are to go with the narrative that we all descended from the same family? I mean, a White man, a Black man and an Asian have striking differences just by appearance alone, and correct me If I'm wrong, but going with the Tower of Babel story, the people got scattered and their languages changed but it doesn't insinuate or highlight that even their appearance will change. Is there a clear answer on this from the Bible or do we just make assumptions about it?
The only thing I question is the claim that Abraham was a "Chaldean". If I remember correctly, the Chaldeans were Aryan people who had a blue eyed queen from a city in lower Asia Minor from whom they took the name. That was I think after Abraham left there. I could be wrong about the timeline but they were closely related. Abraham was Aryan. Before someone makes a race thing of this, be assured that there is only one race! That said, the Samaritans had married with other "tribes" and the racism is addressed in the Gospel. I follow Jesus and only wrote this as history.
I feel like it's possible that Noah and his wife probably still had kids after the flood. They just weren't part of the prophecies with Jesus or anything else so that they weren't mentioned
If the Tower of Babel occurred just 100 years after the flood? That means that 8 people (4 males and 4 females) , assuming that they had a plenty of children, let’s say 20 a couple. There would be about 2000 people to build a tower reaching to heaven. Really? God bless.
The time gap between the construction of the tower and the occurance of the flood was actually much lengthier than 100 years. That particular portion of his explanation was lacking in specificity, so just listening to this video, we don't actually get an accurate depiction of time passage. The time-line between when the flood happened and when the tower was built is actually somewhere between 300 to 500 years. My vague number is due to my poor memory regarding the earliest family tree time-lines. Hope this helps. If you need references or citations, just let me know. P.S. Because these early family members did actually live longer than us today, they were able to populate VERY quickly during that 3 to 5 hundred year time span.

Why do some preachers (who seem to be promoting one thought over another) speak so rapidly when discussing technical details rendering a condition no one can hear or keep up with what he is saying. "Let us" is God speaking to his divine counsel, the "Sons of God." He includes his counsel in his actions, and He desires to include us - if we will follow Him.

Darwin’s wife was a faithful woman that prayed for Charles all through their marriage. He did accept Jesus at the end of his life. He was concerned his teachings might lead people astray. I love kindly telling my atheist friends this.
A. Darwin never said this. B. No one would care if he said this. He could have said in his death bed that he now worshipped kthulu and believed that the moon was made of cheese and it would do literally nothing to uproot any evidence of evolution. He isn't the lynchpin of evolution, there's so much evidence for it, we have a hard time categorizing it. He was just a guy with a good idea that turned out to be correct.

His wife knew his efforts at passing on a more detailed explanation of a very old falsehood was anti-biblical. I love how Christians think Darwin himself is the foundation upon which Evolutionary theory rests. It is not. He was just one of the early, main proponents of a basic, limited version of the theory. Evolutionary theory stands upon a foundation of evidence, not the historical status of its advocates. It is Christians who base their whole worldview on the status of its advocates (Jesus and Paul). Why do Christians always try to make Evolution appear like their own religion as a means of discrediting it? Ironic, to say the least.
I see some people saying he is talking too fast for them. When i find myself feeling that way about a video I go to the settings button and select "playback speed". A person can adjust the speed to 75%, or 50%, or 25% if they want the video (and of course the audio) to play more slowly. I think it defaults to "normal" (100%) every time you start a new video. Happi(er) listening to everyone.

I sometimes wonder if the video producer purposely sped up the video during editing. Changing the speed to 75% does indeed seem to make it seem more like a normal lecture "talk." I recently adjusted the speed on another video where I thought, there's no way anyone can talk this fast.

As far as I can remember I’ve always believed in the Bible. I’ve always believed in Jesus and his teachings. I am seeing the signs of his second coming and am afraid and overwhelmed with the idea it could be as soon as 2027! I best get my life together now and repent of my sins daily because there’s no more time for procrastination. Living the life we are called to live is difficult for me for many reasons. But once I overcome each area life just gets better and God gets closer to my heart. A spirit of godliness comes with such joy and no one can take that away.

My mother’s grandpa was a Martin, which my uncle traced to Ireland. My mom’s mom was a fiery red head with green eyes-a true Irish lassie! The Martin’s of Ireland actually migrated from France. The genealogy given for the Scottish is NOT correct. The label Scotia was given by the Romans for people who spoke Gaelic. The People themselves called themselves Ibre and their Land was called Alba. They do NOT trace back to an Egyptian princesses Scotia! This has been debunked, and the book has been removed from libraries as it has been proven a fraud! I have done research on this as one of my Grandmother's line comes from there.

I have looked at it and I think it is sin with us not living as long, because we started out perfect and after sin we just started deteriorating because of it and our cells just keep getting worse.

Do you know there's a guy who's been on RU-vid for a few years who claims the remains of the tower are in Tibet? His channel is called Roger in Kansas City.
There's a very obvious issue with the story of the Tower. First, it states that the whole world spoke with the same tongue and Genesis is a chronological story. The issue starts with with Gen 10:20 which states These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations. This narrative repeats with the brothers Shem and Japheth as well. So you've either got a bad translation, incorrect story, or it's not in chronological order. The next problem you encounter is the mistranslation of God in this passage. El Elyon which does not mean most high in Hebrew but rather commander of the El is clearly stated as the one who divided peoples and languages in Deuteronomy and yet Yahweh is often ascribed this role in Genesis. It goes on to say that yahweh is the son of Elyon and thus subservient and not the most high. What's the big deal some will ask...exodus says that the name YHWH was not revealed before Moses so it should not ever appear before then. Though I believe the story happened, since it's written about long before the biblical myth, the Bible version has some very clear and obvious redactions which cause confusion later.
