I thought the talent pool at the Europa Pro was actually deeper than Battle of the Bodies - there was Valeria, Kristina, Noora and Ottavia, all Olympians, as well as Marissa Woo. I wish you did a breakout why Valeria still won with this conditioning and why other girls didn’t place :)

Daraja reminds me of Jen Dorie, it’s all about that shape! Also they both have the elusive ‘Wow’ factor. She def could win if she hits her conditioning.

Thank you! When it comes to Valeria, I remember your podcasts with Ash a lot when I read her stories -- there's often a lot of saltiness and thinking that the decisions are political, which is why nothing changes conditioning-wise show after show. Alas! I appreciate your coverage of those European shows in particular!

Yeah, my opinion is they were rewarding too hard, too muscular and too dense earlier this year but corrected pretty well after it. Valeria is too tight in the legs but better from everywhere else compared to the talent level there that day.

Daraja was happy for her win but not with her physique. I do think she’ll compete in the next 2 weeks and be tighter by the Olympia bc she can win this thing!

She could be if she brings the right package but she’s bringing the same package over and over again and it’s not working. She’ll have to change something up if she’s to do anything at the O.

I hold a LOT back 😂. I only talk about what I think the judges would’ve told the athlete. I’m strategic with it, give out a nugget here and there but I’m not here to coach athletes to be better against my athletes, that wouldn’t be very wise.
